Unfortunately you can not buy them at a store nor online. The companies that make the dopplers market exclusively to hospitals and doctors offices. Since they are very expensive ($700 or more) the physicians and hospitals hold onto them until they fall apart. You may however, be able to find a fetal scope. This is a stethoscope that was used to listen to baby’s heart beat before the invention of the doppler. They are still being made and you could by one online at a nurse supply site such as nurses station.
