I rented one from baby beat, http://www.babybeat.com. The price range is $30-$46 a month for rental. I’ve been using the Baby Beat Display Doppler ($44/month) and it has worked great, we heard the heartbeat all the time at 12 weeks. Plus it came really quickly because they will ship the next day and you don’t have to pay extra for that. Hope this helps!

There are also placed like Stork Radio where you can just rent one on a monthly basis.
I recommend you Google "Fetal Doppler Rent". You should find a number of places offering this if you don’t want to commit to buying and want a high end doppler.
i got mine off ebay for $30. i believe it’s called babybeat a ..they have one that’s babybeat b (it has the actual heartrate on there…mine doesn’t). anyway, it’s very good! i got mine when i was 11w2d and was able to hear everything clearly…it was amazing! anyway, it’s tombstone shaped (if that helps) .
