When do start to really worry about Fetal movement? 33 Weeks?
I know this may sound like a repetitive question but, I get myself really worked up sometimes. I do have a doppler and her heart beat is normal. I’ve accepted the fact that she will have her quite days but, between yesterday and today, she’s been awfully quiet. I often hear that if there isnt 10 movements for 2 hours, you should call your dr or go to labor and delivery. Well, I woke up this morning @ 6:50am and I felt about three movements from then until 9:15am. I did check her hb this morning and it was normal 140’s.
So if I go to the dr or labor and delivery about her lack of movement, will they check for something other than HB? Does a normal heart beat mean everything is ok?
Most women around this time say their baby is hyper, but she isnt really hyper.
I had oj this morning and it didnt seem to wake her up. Also, I’ve changed my eating patterns. I eat a lot of little things instead of 3 regular meals because I have no room. Do you think this could affect it?

i always told its 10 movements a day but u may have not noticed them or shes running out of roomin there wouldnt think eating patterns would effect it, but see your midwife anyway just to be safe, but if you can hear heartbeat should be ok. i was always worrying about movements, was always waking my bump up!!! good luck
If her movement is down then call your doctor. She will tell you if she thinks you should go to the hospital or change what you are eating.
A lot of times you may just be so busy that you don’t notice her movement. I wouldn’t be worried about it especially since you can hear her heartbeat!! Maybe she was sleeping!
anytime u think theres something wrong go get checked out…thats what they are there for good luck!
im a first time prego too and my doctor says its better to be safe than sorry so if your worried go get checked. they will check heartbeat and also movement. they can hear the baby move around better than you can sometimes feel the baby move. my baby has been a very active baby the whole pregnancie but his movements have slowed down alot the last couple of weeks but i dont worry as long as he has at least one active moment a day bc we can already see in the sonogram that he is a big boy and he is already head down so he doesnt have alot of room anymore.
I was told to worry if it was less than 10 movements per day. It sounds like your little un is doing more than that so try not to worry!
If you went to hospital they would strap you to a monitor and measure foetal heart rate for a while, also they would give you a button to press when you felt a movement. If you can hear the heartbeat everything will be fine!
Good luck and enjoy your baby!
I don’t think you eating alot of little things instead of three big meals is the problem. actually I don’t think there is a problem. Sometimes I worry too (33weeks) because I don’t feel her kicking constantly but really during the day she is not very active but most nights she is so active it keeps me awake. And I’ve learnt that the nights that she is not very active to just relax and get some rest because so far my OB said that everything is fine with the baby’s growth and development and I should not worry too much (determined by her heartbeat). What I somethimes do when she isn’t moving is drink about 2-3 glasses of water and wait for a little response. Once I get a response, i’m good………even though it may not last very long. Sometimes I just need to feel her move. You are quite lucky though, that you can hear her heartbeat anytime you wish because if I get worried I have to make an appointment to find out if everything is ok. Once her heartbeat is constant there is nothing to worry about………..I’ve come to accept that fact. These little ones just need their rest as well.
