Well DO NOT be alarmed.
Normally people feel the baby move between 18-22 weeks
If you are over weight it might be longer.

The kicks still will not be strong enough to be seen on your stomach
the first feeling that you feel is called "quickening"
so they will feel like butterflies
you still might not be able to recognize them fully
they may feel like gas pains

Try laying down & putting your feet up after you eat
Thats when they move around alot
& see what you can feel

i would say in the next 2 weeks, you would probably definitely feel something. I first felt movement at 16weeks off and on, but now that I am 18 weeks, I feel the baby move several times each day. some will feel the baby earlier than others. give it a little more time. good luck

13.5 weeks. A few times, but not routinely until recently. (I'm 23 weeks now) I'd say in the last 3 weeks I've noticed routine movements. Hope that helps! Oh, but this is my third child, so..I believe that's why I felt something at 13.5 weeks.

I felt my baby move at about 16 weeks. I didn't know it was the baby at forst but it became stronger and more distinct after a few more weeks. Now I am 23 weeks and it is real obvious when the baby is moving. Not to be confused with gas as is can earlier on.

I am on my second pregnancy (so I should feel them sooner/know that to feel for) and I didn't feel this baby move until 19 weeks, which was last week. This week he is moving like crazy, so making up for lost time.

I don't know of anyone who purchased a dopplar and had that ease their mind. Most would freak if they couldn't find the heartbeat, and it happened a lot because of mechanical/human error.

Well movements can usually be felt the first time between 18 and 20 weeks. I've even heard of a lot of women who don't feel it until 22 - 24 weeks. So it's possible it may be a lot longer but most likely in the next 2 weeks. They won't be constant, so if you feel a few one day and none the next day do NOT freak out, it's normal. By 25 weeks you'll most likely be feeling consistent kicks on a daily basis.

I felt first movements around week 19/20. It took until 23ish for them to be regular. You couldn't feel them on the outside until then either (I felt so bad that I could feel them and my husband couldn't. Like wanted to cry, I felt so bad he always looked so disappointed when he tried to feel.)

I'd also advise against the doppler. The reasons are:
1. They aren't as good as the doctor's office and a lot of the time don't work at all for women.
2. It's going to cause you to freak out more. You aren't trained and they aren't as good so chances are, even if it does work for you, there will be days where you won't be ale to find the heartbeat and will freak out.

If something was wrong with the bay your body would let you know. You'd have massive cramping and/or heavy bleeding.
Worry not, we've all been there but it just takes a bit of patience and it'll happen soon.

Good luck.
