13 weeks pregnant can b too early to hear the heart beat.the doppler you bought should have come with instructions and should have stated from wat month to start using it to hear the heart beat, if there were no instructions or it didnt say just google the brand and it should tell u and as for the best position well that depends on how ur baby is positioned..goood luk with the rest of ur pregnancy
They aren’t really suppose to be used until the beginning of the third trimester,I don’t think it is strong enough to hear it… I was looking at one in the store the other day,was about to buy it,until I read that.
The earliest you’ll hear your bAby’s heartbeat is at 21 weeks, if you are not overweight.
I heard my baby’s heart on one at 22 weeks.
It’s because it doesn’t use ultrasound to reflect the sounds.
Relax, and stop sending stress messages to your baby.
you are suppose to beable to hear the heartbeat at 10 weeks. BUt those fetal heartbeat things from the store only pick it up later on in pregnancy because it will be stronger. THe ones that they use in the doctors office should beable to pick it up. If you think there is something wrong with your baby it would be a good idea to get it checked out by the doctor. Ask to hear it’s heartbeat!!! GOod Luck! Hope this helped.
My doctor heard mine with her doppler at week 9
she said that was a little unusual because they usually can`t hear it until your around week 12. However she`s heard my babies heart beat at 9,10,11 & up
When she did mine she put it really low, like right under your stomach (you know where you might have a little fat or baby bump,) move it around there it moved a lot of her, and I found she always found it more to the left side on me close to my hip but a little over and up a little! hope this helps. Also it could be because of your doppler maybe it doesnt pick it up if its quiet (which it was quiet) I dont know if i would of been able to find it however shes (my ob) the expert probably why!
edit- Thanks for the thumbs down! Considering I SAID my Doctor found it with the doppler not from one from a store! I also said the store ones may not pick up the heart beat until later on. LEARN to read. ANd yes you CAN hear the heart beat at 13 weeks or else my doctor wouldnt of heard mine at week 9!
Just read the instructions hun! and theres nothing your doing wrong, its probably just not as expensive grade as the ones the doctors use is all!
