My son avoided the doppler like the plague but my Dr. was patient and I got to hear (faintly) his heartbeat for about 5 seconds at 10 weeks. It will become easier when the baby is bigger (no room to escape) lol

My OB told me that the earliest is 12 weeks with an external doppler. For some women,they may get lucky,but this is a ‘general" rule.
She first used it with me at 17 weeks. And I heard it loud and clear. She said he was really active,so she had to follow him around haha

I heard mine at 8 weeks. It’s truely an amazing sound. That was the first time they tried.

usually around 11 weeks, but they might not be able to get a consistent heartbeat until around 14-15 weeks

They say you should be able to hear it with the external doppler around 10 weeks. I couldnt hear mine until 13 i think. it was a little later than they liked but everything was fine.. everyone is different.

Are you using your own? If so, you probably can’t hear it because the fetus is harder to find than you think, and they can sometimes hide. I think your doctor should find it easily within the next month, tho.

Sometimes as early as 10 weeks but I wouldnt count on it. The first time I was checked with a doppler was at 14 weeks and we heard it!
