I remember mine usually sounding like a swish swish swish at first…its normal….I think it started sounded different around 6months or so for me…but that early the sound you are hearing is a normal heartbeat.

The swish swish is right for 12 weeks- the galloping will start later in the pregnancy (18 weeks or so) as the baby gets closer to your abdominal wall.

That is around normal for the age of gestation you are at. Don’t worry and don’t doubt your self. It doe sound different. And a galloping horse is just a metaphor.
