Was this the baby kicking?
I bought a fetal doppler. It arrived today. At first, I couldn’t find the heartbeat. I was devasted. After about 15mins, there it was! 154bpm! & sleeping. About 20 mins later, I poked at my stomach to wake him/her up. The baby woke up & was doing gymnastics! I’d find the HB, 2secs later, it’d be gone & I’d move the probe around to a different place & he/she’d be there! Every few seconds, I heard a thump. Was that the baby kicking? (I’m only 14wks, can’t feel them yet)
THANKS!

Sure sounds like it! You’ve got an active little peanut in there! My sis was in the hospital when she was preg and they had the monitors hooked up to her and everytime her baby moved it made a funny sound. Good luck with your pregnancy! =)
sure
Could have been!

THe baby could be kicking its called quickening.
It’s normal for you not feel the babies movements but yes that was the baby moving around. I finally felt my little guy moving around was about 23 weeks i could see him moving good on the monitor when getting a ultrasound but couldn’t feel him. I asked the lady if that’s normal and she said yup usually around 18 weeks or later you KNOW you feel the baby kicking. In the beginning i wasn’t sure if it was the babys flutters or if it was gas that i was feeling. But anywase yes that was your baby moving congrats it’s such a exciting moment. I have a good feeling your having a boy also when the bpm are around 150’s it’s a boy. Never know though. Hope this helped you.
Why would you need to keep checking and poking you baby? Leave the poor little thing alone its only about 5 or 6 cm long, no wonder you have trouble finding it each time.
No, it was just the alchohol.
