alright! i used the doppler everyday beginning at 9 weeks for awhile so i consider myself a pro!

-you don't need a full bladder. I guess it may help but i never made sure i had one and had no troubles.
-What is the heartrate you are finding now?? It should stay about the same. If its low.. like in the 90s thats yours. Baby should be about 140-175
-You can find the heartbeat several places as your womb sort of echos to different places. Thats why a lot of times people will ask if they are having twins, because they are picking the heartbeat up several different places.
-It was easiest for me to find the heartbeat real low. like right next to where my pubic hair began and then move to the left or right if needed. i didn't move upwards until maybe 30+ weeks
-I don't think you are further along Just because of this.

Congratulations!

I had the most luck low and to the right, almost like where your appendix would be. I also had to change the angle of the wand. Instead of it being at a right angle to your stomach, tilt it from side to side and back and forth.
