Stupid question - can a fetal Doppler be used on a pregnant dog?

I know somebody who wants to know if their dog is pregnant. I was just read that puppys heart beats can be detected after 30 days of mating with a stetescope just wondering if a fetal Doppler would work? Thanks x

Thats not a stupid question at all. Heck, I’d give it a try.
You could always give it a go. It should work by the same principal except there would be a few more heartbeats
