I'm not as far along as your are, but I was worried too.  My boy's heartrate started around 146, then the following appt. it was 163.  Just 2 weeks ago it was only 134.  I was worried, but I was told everything was fine.</description>

		<description>My Dr said she wished that they never would have started selling those things. She said they don't work like the real Dopplers at the Dr's office. They are more like a stethoscope. Half the time women can't hear the heart beat or it doesn't pick it up right and it sounds funny. Women aren't trained to use them or to know what is normal as far as the heart beat goes and they get worried for no reason. She said they are a waste of money bc of all the stress they cause. If you are concerned then I would go ahead and call the Dr. But if you are feeling your baby move, I doubt there is anything to worry about. Baby's heart rates go up and down.</description>
