Slowing fetal heart rate?
I am now 35 weeks pregnant with my first child.
I have been getting regular NST from my OB due to gestational diabetes, and everything looks good. The baby was reactive and her heart rate varied from 130 - 150 BPM.
My last NST was Monday morning.
My concern is that I have a home doppler where I check the heartbeat (just to ease my mind) and last night her heart rate seemed very slow. It was ranging from 115 - 125 BPM. I checked it again today, and it was around 128 BPM, but went up to about 135 BPM and dropped back to the 120’s again.
Should this be a cause for concern? I’m still feeling her move on a regular basis. I’m just concerned that this may be too low.

I wouldn’t be too concerned about it, but maybe talk to your OB about it to just "rest assured."
I’m not as far along as your are, but I was worried too. My boy’s heartrate started around 146, then the following appt. it was 163. Just 2 weeks ago it was only 134. I was worried, but I was told everything was fine.
she may have been on her cord when the heartbeat was low…tell your doctor just so he knows. Good Luck! I wish I were 35 weeks instead of 12 lol
I would contact your Ob gyn and ask them if you could be seen cause you have some concerns and tell them why…. I wish you the best of luck
My Dr said she wished that they never would have started selling those things. She said they don’t work like the real Dopplers at the Dr’s office. They are more like a stethoscope. Half the time women can’t hear the heart beat or it doesn’t pick it up right and it sounds funny. Women aren’t trained to use them or to know what is normal as far as the heart beat goes and they get worried for no reason. She said they are a waste of money bc of all the stress they cause. If you are concerned then I would go ahead and call the Dr. But if you are feeling your baby move, I doubt there is anything to worry about. Baby’s heart rates go up and down.
