It’s still early in the game to be too concerned about movement, but if you are worrying about it I would call your Dr. just to be on the safe side and so that you are reassured.
The fact that you got a heartbeat is the most important thing at this stage. Also, my Dr. advised that at times the baby is not as active due to a growth spurt.
Try having a big glass of fruit juice and laying down on your back, remaining still for a while. That may cause the baby to wake up enough that you’ll feel him/her.
What you are going through is totally normal. Dont stress yourself out over it. Congratulations on your pregnancy!
may just be tired, if your that worried call the midwife
You are still pretty early on in your pregnancy to be feeling movement every single day. As long as you found the heart beat with your monitor, I wouldn’t worry. If it does persist, call your doctor.
just call your dr. dont try to self diagnose
at 19 weeks you dont feel every movement….. if you have found the heartbeat i wouldnt be too worried.
At your babies most active time during the day you are supposed to get 10 fetal movements in one hour. If that doesn’t happen in 1 hour then you are to try again. If you still don’t get 10 then you need to call your doctor immediately!
is your baby usually really active? My mom said i would go days without moving, and she would always be afraid something happened. If you heard the heartbeat then the baby is probably fine. Don’t worry some just arn’t that active, and hey i’m fine : )
At this point in your pregnancy the baby is getting plenty of rest for growing. The days he/she is not very active are very vitale to him/her development. Baby’s probably just going through a growth spurt. If you heard baby’s heart beat on the fetal doppler, than he/she is just taking a long nap. Now, if you’ve tried laying on your left side, drank a few glasses of milk/juice and still don’t feel him/her moving you should call your doctor and have them bring you in if you’re that worried. Think about this also, you may not be able to feel every little movement still because your baby is only about 1-2 lbs right now (if that).
the baby is probably sleeping… they do that..they don’t move all the time this early..as long as u hear a hear beat then ur good.
Sometimes baby position herself in such a way that you may not be able to feel its movements. Like if its using the placenta as a pillow, and the placenta is in between ur abdomen and the baby, you wont be able to feel a single thing! That was the case with me too. If the heartbeat is there, you should not be worried about anything. However, going to the doctor and get it checked out wont hurt you either! Take care and relax, hope everything is ok with you!
You are still too early in pregnancy to feel movements everyday. The baby still sleeps alot and isn’t really big at your stage. After 27 weeks you should start fetal counts, and get at least 12 every 12 hours. Try drinking something cold like orange juice and laying down for an hour. You may get some movements like that.
It’s completely normal, don’t worry. You can call your doctor for peace of mind but i’ve had two children and have friends with lots of children and i have read on it as well. As long as your baby has a heartbeat he/she is fine. you may have eaten something that made them tired, or if your always moving about , that motion lulls them to sleep. Besides they have lots of room in there at 16 weeks, as they get bigger you will feel a lot more movement, even hiccups!
if you found a heartbeat then everything is surely ok. Babies at that stage of pregnancy don’t have an exact routine. He/she is probably moving and you just can’t feel most of it.
you may not feel all the movements because of the size drink sum juice and lay on your left side you should feel the baby move your baby may move at night while you are sleep my baby never moved during the day
Your baby is moving, you just aren’t feeling it. Baby still has a lot of room so that if he or she moves into a certain position, you will not feel any movement. Movement should not be constant and you should not be doing kick counts until about 27 weeks. Before that, no change in fetal movement is abnormal.
At 19 wks most women have barely started feeling movement in the last couple of weeks. It is pretty normal for it to be sporadic at first. The baby is still small enough to be floating around and will not always make contact with the uterus. I would not be worried. Try not to panic. Have your doctor explain what and what not to be worried about at this stage if you are nervous.
Well your only 19 weeks, your not going to feel her every move. She is still very small. I’m 33 weeks and I can’t tell when my daughter is moving her arms even though it shows on an ultrasound. So don’t freak out if you don’t feel her little kicks all day long, but when your further along 25+ weeks, then you should feel consistent kicking throughout the day.
Totally normal. I am 22.5 weeks and don’t always feel movements every day. My OB said not to worry about kick counts or anything like that until you are atleast 24 weeks. Your baby is still too little yet to feel all the movements at your stage.
Its way too early for you to be thinking about kick counts. Those you can do starting mid-third trimester, but for now, don’t worry about it. At this point, you’re still not going to feel the baby’s every movement because he’s still so small. And if you have found the heartbeat, then everything should be fine.
My girlfriend thought the same thing yesterday so we went out and bought a fetal doppler to make sure and as soon as we bought it she could feel him…
She said "oh maybe I wasn’t paying attention to him kicking" So just relax, he likes to kick in ithe bath tub maybe that will help. she’s 27 weeks.. Good Luck and Congrats
ye you are still early, baby is prob sleepy to day and very active tomorrow, if you have heard heart beat then all should be well,if your very worried then phone dr of midwife.
Many women don’t even feel movements until gone 20 weeks. As long as you can feel the heartbeat don’t stress about it. My baby used to have a few manic days and then a quiet day!
go to your local day unit or phone your midwife its best to put your mind at rest & medical professionals are used to worries from expectant mothers & also unless your a trained midwife you cant be sure its the babys heartbeat, sorry to be negative but like I said get it checked
good luck
