Is this what I think it is?
Last week, I purchased a Sonoline fetal doppler. I am currently almost 12 weeks along. For the past couple of days, I have been listening to my baby’s heart beat, at least, I think it is my baby’s heart beat. I can hear mine sometimes and it is slow and when I think I hear my baby’s, it is very fast- almost twice as fast as mine. Is this the baby’s heart beat or is it the placenta? Would the planceta be pumping blood as fast as the baby’s heart? I’m just confused!

Placenta puts off a "swooshing" sound
Fetal heartbeat puts of a galloping horse type sound - if its twice as fast as your’s then its probably the fetal heartbeat you’re hearing
It sounds like like the fast heartbeat you’re hearing is your baby’s.
Congrats on your Pregnancy and Good Luck!!!
The placenta doesn’t pump blood like the heart. It’s simple the passage way that transports blood, oxygen, vitamins, etc. What you hear is in fact your baby’s heart! Yes, it does beat twice as fast as yours, between 120-160bpm. Happy listening!
yes it is what u thinlk it is
