I bought an angelsound Doppler from amazon.com and started using it about 14weeks. I’m now almost 18 weeks and it works amazing. It only cost around $30 and I’m glad I didn’t buy a more exspensive one. I reccomend 100%! I’ve heard a lot of people have issues with the Doppler but I’ve had nothing but good expirences.
I’m 17w4d and I may be feeling movement but nothing for sure… I hear you on that one. I’m dying to feel something for sure.
Congrats!
my fetal doppler workes really well but dont get stressed if you dont hear the heartbeat at first with it… they arent as strong as the dr.s and i could always find my baby’s heart beat but it sometimes would take 20 or more min. so keep that in mind that they are still really small at this point and trying to find the heartbeat when you cant can be scary….now that im 35 weeks it takes like 10 secs to hear his lil beat
It’s ok to not feel baby yet.. he/she is still tiny in there and has lots of room to stretch and grow. Yes it’s normal for your stomach to go from hard to soft.. for me when that happened it was from baby pushing their tush against my belly.. it was the funniest thing!
The fetal doppler we had Sucked! It was $60 from Babies R Us and it Never worked. I was 35 weeks pregnant and still couldn’t hear anything! I could hear my own heartbeat but never my daughters. I wouldn’t buy a cheap one they almost Never work. If you buy a good one like the OB office has (their a good $200+) those ones work great!
You won’t feel the baby for another month or so probably. That’s okay. Braxton-Hicks contractions this early don’t usually happen, from what I know. I never used a fetal doppler, so I can’t help you with that one.
You should get a ultrasound. Yes the doppler works with some people. The baby heart beat is hard to find because it is so small. You can hear yours and the baby’s its hard to tell apart the baby’s is really soft and fast.
I’m only 14 weeks so I can’t help you with feeling the baby. However, I was told by my OB not to expect feeling kicks until atleast 20 weeks, since this is my first. I’ve felt some slight flutters but it could very well be gas. As far as the dopplers go, I’ve been able to hear my baby’s heartbeat since 10 weeks. I got one for $60 from Amazon and it’s called a Sonotrax B or something. I love it! I actually think mine may work better than my doctor’s. They had a harder time than I did at finding the heartrate. You will love it! Good luck.
