my baby is right at my hair line, i am 13 weeks, the heart rate is 174, but my baby has been in the same place for almost a day, before then my baby was more to the top then more to the left, (moved some) is this normal??
my heart beat was slow, i could tell it was the baby’s because it was super fast compared to mine.

well at 13 weeks your uterus only reaches to right above the hairline so of course the baby is in your uterus and is very low. unless you are having twins i don’t think you should be getting a heartbeat farther up and to the left. you can’t feel a baby move that early by the way in regards to someone else’s answer
good luck!
That was probably your heart rate you were getting before. The baby should be very low and this gestation.
I am 12 weeks and it is REALLY hard to hear my babies heart. The Doppler did say something about trying in the beginning of the first trimester, could this by why??
Sorry to ask, but where did you purchase your Doppler, I was just wondering if you and I have the same one.
Yup, my daughter was like that the entire time! Once she didn’t move for 3 days! As long as you feel a flutter or some sort of movement a day you’re fine.
My baby is that low, too… At my last doctor’s appointment I got really freaked out, because she couldn’t find the heartbeat… It took her good 5 minutes to detect it and it was very, very low.
Your baby will be down there and even further into the pregnancy. I am 39 weeks and the nurse always starts down low when looking for the heartbeat.
My baby’s heartbeat was always heard near my hair line up until about the middle of my pregnancy. When you are pregnant, as your uterus grows, it pulls everything up so it will be higher and higher as time goes on.
