i bought a fetal doppler today and my babys heartbeat was slow.?

im 16 weeks and 4 days pregnant and my fetal doppler arrived today, i tried it out and couldnt hear anything, so about 20 minutes later i tried again with lots of the gel and the heartbeat was only 98 bpm, am i looking in the right place? because 98 seems low to me for almost 17 weeks pregnant?

I wouldn’t worry it was probably your heartbeat you could hear, your babies heartbeat should sound like a galloping horse, try again.
My advice is get rid of that thing.. they cause unnecessary worry and who knows what they actually do to baby… trust your baby and body. if yo are really worried check with a midwife… but honey to me hose machines are just not right
thoughs things are rubbish and are not right at all throw it or take it back to the shop
