I bought a really good one off ebay it cost me 120 and it works so good
it started to work around 18 weeks really good like I could find the babies heartbeat easily but before than it took me about 15 mins to find the heartbeat
but i started trying at around 10 weeks and finally picked the heartbeat up at 15 weeks
I used one with my last baby, now 6 months old.
It’s good from about 20 weeks, although we heard the heartbeat sooner than that but it was more difficult to pick up. You get used to finding the heartbeat in more or less the same place each time you use it.
We paid £30 for it on eBay and it was an Angel Sounds one. It came with a lead to record the sound onto your laptop as a sound file too.
I’m 24 weeks and I’ve been hearing the baby’s heartbeat since I was three months pregnant.
I don’t own one, but I use it when I visit my doctor and so far I don’t think it’s ever faulty..
I used one and had only good experiences from it, but a good friend of mine used one. At her 18 week appointment she found out that the baby was still inside the womb but it was not alive, and was the gestational age of only 9 weeks so it had been dead for 9 weeks. During that time each day she used the fetal doppler, but what she must have thought was the baby’s heartbeat was actually just her placenta. I know this is a fluke, but I would never personally use one or recommend it to anyone again.
dont buy the one called bebe sounds!! i bought that its only like twenty bucks and im 38 weeks and 4 days pregnant and i STILL cant hear the heart beat
I used mine from 12 weeks its called angelsounds I bought it from an ebay shop its brilliant. At first it was quite addictive to keep listening to baby but now I don’t use it as much unless baby is having a quiet day and isn’t moving much.I would definitely recommend it but dont panic if you dont find heartbeat straight away as it can take a while. =]
i have one its an angel sounds got it from amazon n i’ve been able to hear it most times its since 8 weeks supposed to be able to hear it from 12 weeks on
highly recommended
I’m 17 weeks so it’s still a wee bit early, but i’d love to get one - but i’m in two minds. I know if I couldn’t hear my baby’s heartbeat i’d freak out big time, but then again it would be amazing! Go with your instincts, and if it’s faulty you can always return it? Congrats!
