hear fetal movement at 12/13 weeks with doppler?
i was given a fetal heart listener a few weeks ago and have been listenin through it once or twice a week or so.
obviously i have never expected to hear the heartbeat so early but was curious as to whether i’d hear movement or not because baby is meant to be moving a lot at this time.
well this week im 12-13 weeks and can hear a thudding noise a few times. i never heard this last week or the week before. only just heard it.
has anybody else heard anything like this?
could it be fetal movements?
or would i not hear that yet? i have heard the gas noises a few times and it sounds different to this thudding noise

whenever i hear the gas noise i usually feel a little rumble in my stomach. but with this thudding noise i dont feel anything at all.

that thudding your hearing is the baby moving. i have a doppler too. im 24 weeks now and when i was 12 weeks i wasnt sure what the thuds were,but now i can feel them and they are movments and little kicks.

i herd the heartbeat last week (10 weeks pregnant) the doctor did it for me
are you using the doppler in the correct place? its just about where the pubic hairs grow at the top, right in the middle, the babys heartbeat is very fast, how fast is the thud noise?
Its hard to find the heartbeat this early one, especially by yourself. Remember that the baby’s heartbeat will be much faster than your own.
i heard mine at 12weeks you should no if its babys as the heatbeat is much quicker than yours listen to yours through the doppler then try and find babys goodluck x
Well the heartbeat is more like a whoosh…whoosh not beating like your own heart beat. but at 12-13 weeks baby is turning somersaults in your belly.. google 12-13 weeks pregnancy pics and you will be able to see what baby looks like. to me it reminds me of a tadpole.
The thuud is the baby. So congrats!
If you listen to mine about half way though it you heart a rustling noise which is also my baby and at the very end you hear someting kind of like the ocean. That is the placenta. Dopplers are amazing aren’t they. I loved mine. I got it when I was around 15 weeks.
