If your hearing one that is slower and makes kind of a swishing sound it is the placenta pumping blood to the baby. You will know that baby's heart beat because it will be really fast and almost sound like a galloping horse or a train. I had to get help from my friend who is an RN to help me find it. Oh and another thing is the baby will move but the placenta will always be in the same place so I always find that first then look for the baby's heart beat. I just bought one of those too.
