I just bought one of those too. If your hearing one that is slower and makes kind of a swishing sound it is the placenta pumping blood to the baby. You will know that baby’s heart beat because it will be really fast and almost sound like a galloping horse or a train. I had to get help from my friend who is an RN to help me find it. Oh and another thing is the baby will move but the placenta will always be in the same place so I always find that first then look for the baby’s heart beat.
One of the heartbeats is probably yours! you can hear yours and baby’s through the doppler.
Your ovaries don’t make any audible sound. Do you know what you are listening for? My guess is that one of the sounds you are hearing is the baby’s heart beat, and the other is your own.
You’re hearing the baby’s heartbeat and yours. The baby’s is much faster but if you’re for sure there’s only one baby, then the other sound is your pulse
could be your own heart beat as well. Talk to your doctor about what you are sensing.
you could be hearing your own heartbeat.
You are probably hearing the echo of the baby’s heartbeat. If only one fetus was detected on u/s there is only one baby in there. No worries! = )
If you are hearing your own heartbeat it will be much slower than the babies. Otherwise you could be hearing the "whoosh" of blood being passed through your body or the baby’s movements.
it’s your heart beat, you can hear them both
You have a main artery that runs through your lower abdomen. Notice that one heartbeat is much slower then another..Slower one is yours and the fast one is the baby.
It is prob yours you can have someone take ur pulse and compare it because the baby’s will be much faster than urs the dr sometimes does this to me since i have a naturally fast pulse and they want to be sure they are picking up the baby and not me
Enjoy hearing the heartbeat of your baby!!! It’s wonderful!!!
the other heartbeat is yours. it should be a faint beat! I had a Doppler, and that is what it is!
You could be hearing your own heart beat… Very normal.
what you are prob. hearing is your heartbeat and then the babies heartbeat. if the doctor hasnt detected two heartbeats or two fetus’s during a visit then you are just having one baby. trust me you would have known by now if you were having twins.
lol i think the other heartbeat is yours you can usually tell b/c its slower than the babies
The other heartbeat is probably yours (which should be much slower) or it can be an echo from the babies heartbeat…I know when I go to the midwife when they check the heartbeat there is always one side that they can hear it much stronger on and only hear it very faintly on the other side of my stomac…There is VERY VERY little chance that they would miss a second baby on 2 ultrasounds!!
one of the heartbeats is yours and one is the baby. your heartbeat is usually the first one you find. the babys heartbeat usually sounds more like it echos a little and usually sounds a little deeper
One is yours silly!
It isn’t unheard of to have one baby laying behind the other and having their heartbeats in sinc, but more than likely you are hearing your own heartbeat. Only time will tell.
You are probably hearing your heartbeat, i have a doppler at home too and i always hear my heartbeat too. Your babies heartbeat is ALOT faster! ANd if you had 2 ultrasounds with one baby then you def. have one baby.
