Fetal Movement…20 weeks?
Okay guys…I have a question, I am now 20 weeks pregnant..I feel NO movement.
I felt movement with my first at 18 weeks, and my second at 14 weeks.
I have alot of painful braxton hicks contractions, and with those contractions I can tell that my uterus is to the middle of my belly button, so that is right around the 20 week mark.
I also have a fetal doppler, and the heart beat is there and strong, between 140-145.
I know im jusy worrying myself, But Do you think the placenta could be covering the front?
I have my ultrasound the 1st of june, and im seeing my doctor the 4th of june, I cant wait!
Please no critics..only answer the specific question.

If the baby is backwards it could be hard to feel. Are you having to pee alot, and all of the sudden? The baby could be kicking your kidneys. If the heartbeat is good then you will probably feel the baby in time.
The first pregnancy I felt it at 20 weeks. The second pregnancy I had a previa and felt NOTHING until 23 weeks. Not sure why.
I have placenta previa.. But I still feel movement all the time.
Try drinking ICE cold fluids and then lie down , I’m sure that will get him/her moving
Even if you have the placenta attached to the front of the uterus you would still feel movements, As I’m going through it right now:)

i have an anterior placenta, and it was hard for me to feel anything before the 23 week mark. At 20 weeks i felt things i thought were gas bubbles, and they were so faint i sometimes thought i was imagining it. Finally, at 23 weeks, i started feeling strong movements and could even see some of them on my belly when i was laying down.
yes it could very well be the position of the placenta
as this is not your first child & normally you would feel plenty of movement by now so it must be the position of it, if your hearing the babys heartbeat then im sure everything is fine try not to worry "easier said than done"
im pregnant with my second child & i was in the same situation i couldnt feel my baby move but it was the position the placenta was in & the baby was kicking it so therefore i couldnt feel any movement im now nearly hitting the 30 weeks mark & the babys position has changed im now feeling lots of movements.

if you here the baby heart beat than the baby is ok but i think you should ask your doctor about this. i felt my son move at 19weeks i felt my baby girl move at 14weeks

I felt my First at 16 weeks and second at 18 weeks then nothing untill week 20, it could be that your baby has his/her back to your tummy so thats why you arnt feeling much.
The heartbeat is perfect so everything will be ok you sound like a worrier just like i was lol relax hun

The baby just sounds like it is a calm baby, or maybe a little smaller than your first. I felt movement w/ my 1st around 17-20 weeks can’t remember, my 2nd it was around 13 weeks (very light but I knew it was her), w/ this one it wasn’t until like 25 weeks or more…she is totally fine and normal and now she moves all the time! So it will be ok. If you just keep staying worried after your appts. mention it to your dr and see if they will do a non-stress test or another ultrasound (like 4d or something) to ease your worries and just reassure you all is well.
