Hi, my baby done the same dont worry the heart beat will go up and down an awful lot i was monitored a lot in my pregnancy due to my blood pressure and my daughters heart beat often went from 126 - 170 in seconds. I was worried too but the midwifes said it was perfectly normal and is a sign of a healthy baby. if you are in doubt ask your midwife, dont think the questions you ask are silly, they are there to help and have, im sure, heard every question imaginable aroung the subjects of babies

you should call your doctor to get information..you migth get wrong information on here

its absoloutly fine it fluctuates wiv babys movement, shows he/she is healthy! good luck x

i don’t know. if you are concern about something, you should definately call your DR and find out. The yahooligans don’t know enough to help you.

thats fine ur baby is right where it needs to be, she was probably just moving and as long as it goes back to 140+ everything’s fine.

Could it be that "he" just moved away from the doppler and so it didn’t pick up all his heart beats?
Most people I know who have used these say they caused more stress than they relieved!! My advice would be just to use it when you want to know he’s still around - but the heart rate counter does seem to cause a lot of stress which - admit it - you don’t need right now!!!
16 weeks is also very early to get a consistent beat on a doppler - even midwives struggle, as I know from experience.
If your stressed - call your Dr, but bear in mind - that you really have stressed yourself in this situation!
