Fetal Heartbeat with Doppler, where to pick up HB at 11weeks pregnant?
I am currently 11 weeks pregnant and purchased a doppler to use at home. The dopple has a frequency of 2MHz. My question is where would I most likely find the heart rate? My doctor was able to find the babys heartbeat with her doppler at 9 weeks and it was loud and strong… I have been trying to find mine however at home today and have had no luck. Also, what will it sound like? I pick up a heartbeat around 98-102 but I think it is just mine.

You probably won’t be able to, but the baby is still VERY small, and very low.
Try RIGHT above your pubic hair, in that area.
Those things cause more worry than needed.
So don’t freak if you can’t find it.
right between the top of your vagina and underneath your belly button… that is where you should hear it the best!
Here are some doppler tips I found useful. I rented my doppler through this website and had the same question you did.

This early on, find the top of your pubic bone (probably half way down into your pubic hair) and move it around in that area. Go very slowly or you could miss it. Also stay in one spot and rock the doppler from side to side slowly. It may take a couple tries, but you should find it. I rented a doppler with 2 of my pregnancies. And you’re right, the 98-102 is probably you. The babies heart rate should be between 120-160 or around there.
