fetal heartbeat (dopplers)?

I recently got a doppler from bellybeats.com. I am curious to know what others have heard through their dopplers?! What did the babys heartbeat soundlike? Everytime I use it, including when i get it done at the doctors its always like a swoosh swoosh swoosh sound….is this what you guys hear?! Its so exciting to hear your baby!

I have one and it is exciting to hear the heartbeat. I can sometimes hear the sound in the placenta which sounds like wind blowing. I also can find my own heartbeat too. His sounds like a horse galloping, with the swoosh sound. I think it is funny cause he will come to the doppler. I have it in one place and he will move to see what it is. Good luck and congrats!
well now its more like…thump thump thump…but then again im 36 weeks
