i am 16w preg with fraternal twins and rented a fetal doppler today. at my last ob visit, the babies hb’s were the same. that was 3wks ago. the doppler i have is measuring one baby at 120bpm and the other one in the 150’s. i am scared and worried that something is wrong. could the difference be because their is twins? does this matter? i dont know that to do.

One could be a boy and the other a girl, girls have higher bpms. But you should call your Dr. just to be sure its nothing serious.
death is worth living for
Call your doctor if you are concerned, but I don’t think there is anything to worry about. I had fraternal twins, both boys and their heart rates were NEVER exactly the same.
sounds like you are having a boy and a girl
my daughter’s hb was 130-145
when my mom was pregnant with me and my twin bro we were like that. he was always 150 or better and i was 130-145 like my daughter
I am 33 weeks pregnant with twin boys and their heartbeats are almost always different. As long as the bpms are between 110 and 170 you really shouldn’t worry. The bpm’s are constantly changing. Try not to worry but if you can’t help it call your dr. Good luck fellow twin mom.
