I just saw a question about the Doppler’s, and women were mentioning that if you get the kind that is at the doctor’s office you can hear the heartbeat pretty soon, and better.
I was wondering what kind do they use, and has anyone bought one on line, what was the earliest you heard the heart beat?

I just rented a fetal doppler and was wondering if anyone else had rented one and if so how did it work? I haven’t got it yet, i should have it tomorrow but I will be 10 weeks Monday.
According to the website it is medical grade and you have to use ultrasound gel with it. I have one of the cheap ones from Wal-Mart and they are crappy and a waste of money.

This is my 3rd baby but fetal dopplers weren’t really available with my first two.

I used to worry a lot if I didn’t feel them move and a friend of my husband recently lost a baby at 39 weeks due to a silent abruption. This is also making me paranoid.

Would anyone reccommend using a doppler at home or are they not worthwhile.

I’m just trying to find out if you can hear the baby moving and kicking on the fetal doppler? Sometimes when I am listening to the heartbeat i can hear other sounds just trying to see if its the baby moving or something else.

I went and bought a fetal heart doppler / heart monitor from ebay. I have tested it and it works but how often can i use it in a week (not that i am going to use it weekly just as an example of how often i can use it) , i dont want to over use it because i dont want to hurt the baby. Has anyone else had experience with these heart monitors and how often you can use them ?

We purchased an angelsounds fetal doppler and would like to buy some gel to use with it. I would like to use the best conductor, will any ultrasound gel work?

I’m 18 weeks and we rented a fetal doppler heart rate monitor from Belly Beats on the internet. We were able to hear the heartbeat the first 2 nights, but for the last 2 we haven’t been able to find it. I don’t know how reliable these dopplers are, so I don’t know if I should worry or what. What do you think? Let me know your experience.

I purchased a fetal doppler online about a week ago, and Im wondering if its possible to hurt the baby by using it too much? There are no warnings that state to use with caution or that you should limit yourself on how much to use it. I would like to use it once a day, possibly more than once on some days if I have a hard time finding the heartbeat that day, but only if it is truly safe. I hear a lot of people use them daily, but I just would like some advice. Thank you.

i have a fetal doppler i think i may have found the fetal heart beat but im not 100% sure it sounds something like Pow Pow Pow really fast what do you think any one else heard the babys heart beat on a doppler if so how did it sound…in words lol ? i have heard it soun ds like a galloping horse but i cant compare?
