Listen to your baby heartbeat from 8 weeks

I rented one because Im a worrier and I love to know that everything is ok.
I am 15 weeks pregnant and it kept picking up my heartbeat.
Eventually I thought I found the babys (it was 130 - 140bpm) and it stayed like that for about 10 seconds then it faded away, and took me ages to find it again.
Im not even sure if it was my babys as every now and then the doppler changes drastically.
Is this a sign that something is wrong? Or is it normal to have trouble finding it?
I’m a little over 15 weeks pregnant. For the past could days or so I’ve felt a little popping feeling on my lower left side. I thought I was going crazy.
Today the Fetal Doppler my husband ordered came in and the only place I could get a clear heart beat was where I feel these pops.
When did you all feel your baby for the first time? Do short women (I’m 5′1") feel the baby a little sooner?
Thanks everyone! =)
I recently bought a fetal doppler so I could check on the baby if I was ever worried,my OBGYN actually suggested to get one because my baby is lazy and doesn’t move a lot.I have watched my OBGYN and they find her heartbeat instantly but every time I use it I can never find her heartbeat,I know she is in there because she will kick.Any suggestions on how to find her heartbeat?
I want to buy a fetal doppler but I’m sort of on a budget. What do you ladies suggest? Im hoping to find a reliable one at under 0 dollars. Thanks!
I am almost 22 weeks pregnant and would like to buy a fetal doppler, I have seen lots around but was just wondering if anyone had used one before and if they actually work? I understand sometimes it can be difficult to find the heartbeat but I really want to try. Also if anyone could recommend one that would be great!! Many thanks
I see it on ebay and its the only one I can afford, if I buy it, I will only be 10-11 weeks when it arrives. Will I be able tp hear the heartbeat then? Does anyone have it that has had success that early on with it? Just looking for peoples experince with this little device. I dont wanna buy it and freak myself out if I cant find a heartbeat.
i feel as though it could just be round ligament but with my daughter i didnt feel this till about 16 weeks! i used my sonoline b fetal heart rate doppler and the babys heartbeat is just as strong as always i dont feel like somethings wrong, i just forget already what it all felt like with my daughter. haye ideas on what it may be?
I’m 28 weeks pregnant with my first and I’m still not feeling her a lot, I’m lucky if I feel 10 movements all day on a good day, and sometimes I don’t feel her at all for a couple days. I had an appointment with my family doctor last Wednesday, he doesn’t have a fetal doppler since he is only a family doctor, but he said her heartbeat was healthy and he heard her move, since he listens with his stethoscope thing, but I didn’t feel anything. I have my first visit with my obstetrician tomorrow. So I will get to hear the heartbeat out loud and I will ask him about this, but I’m still wondering if anyone has gone through this ? I am a bit of a worrier.
My last pregnancy ended in a late missed miscarriage so I want to either rent or purchase a fetal doppler this time around so I’m not constantly worried. I see the ones on E bay for around but have never used one, does any one know if they really work?
I am 11wk2d pregnant and feeling sharp pains at the top of my stomach, in the middle of my rib cage. Am also feeling a few cramps although I that this is normal in pregnancy am still worried about the sharp pains at the top of my stomach. I’ve googled this pain and can’t seem to find to anything regarding this. I do have a fetal doppler and listened to my baby’s heartbeat today, but using the doppler often concerns me so I don’t really want to use it again unless necessary.
Any ideas? any input would be really appreciated. thank you
Please can you make sure that they are regarding to the pain at the top of my stomach and not the cramps. I know the cramps are normal and they are not intense just normal cramps that are felt during pregnancy. thank you
So im REALLY confused.
i am 7 weeks and 4 days pregnant
i think i found the babies heart beat on my left very lowerrr abdomen.
but the beating is slow like 70 beats per minute a fetus should be atleast 150 BPM
but im pretty sure it is the baby cuz if u move it the sound disappears. and when i check on my chest for my heart beat mine is MUCH faster!!
and i just discovered my right lower abdomen u can hear beating there as well?
but its about 70 BPM
am i wrong? is it my heart beat?
I have not yet had any ultra sound done and wont until my 1st OB check at 10 weeks.
so any opinions/ANY info would be very nice!
Thanks
I bought a fetal doppler online and got it in the mail yesterday! I am exactly 12 weeks pregnant and am not scheduled for my first ob/gyn appointment until 2 weeks from now. I was able to hear my baby’s heart beat for the first time at home lying on the couch! The heart beat was steady at 150 bpm. Is this a good heart rate for a 12 week pregnancy? I’ve heard that it varies depending on how far along you are in your pregnancy!
FOR THE PERSON WHO THINKS I’M ‘SPAMMING,’ I’M SURE YOU’RE ABLE TO VIEW MY PREVIOUS ASKED QUESTIONS! I HAVE 2 CHILDREN AND THIS IS MY 3RD… IF YOU AREN’T GOING TO OFFER A BETTER RESPONSE TO PEOPLE… THEN DON’T OFFER ONE AT ALL! THANKS!
First of all, i know everyone will say that’s impossible but i have a fetal heart doppler at home and just heard heartbeat. I didn’t think it would show up until at least 10 weeks but i just used it for the heck of it. I found the heartbeat really low in my abdomen closer to the right side at 132 bpm so no it wasn’t my own heartbeat. i used this same doppler with my son so i know what to look for. i was just wondering if anyone else heard heartbeat that early with doppler?
I just received my fetal Doppler and am super excited. I’m 9 weeks 5 days pregnant and have seen my babies heart beat twice at the doctors. Both times babies heart was at about 160. On my home fetal Doppler it is showing anywhere between 80-165. It usually stays around 105-110.
I’m wondering if its not picking up every beat because its still early or if this is cause for concern.
I have the sonolineb 3mhz.
I am 18w5d pregnant today with my first child. From what I’ve read, any women say that they feel some fetal movement, fluttering, bubbles, etc. I don’t feel anything at all! I don’t even feel pregnant! I am a high risk pregnancy, have gestational diabetes and found out that it is only a single artery umbilical cord ( supposed to have 2) so I am a nervous wreck that something might happen to the baby. I had a doppler on Monday, 18w2d and heart beat was 141 and everything looked good over-all but still can stop feeling this dreadful way. Need reassurance
I am currently almost 7 weeks pregnant & just ordered a Sonoline B Fetal Doppler, the 3 MhZ probe to hear my babys heartbeat because it says it can be detected as early as 8 weeks.
Does anyone else have this one or had any luck with a Doppler around 8 weeks?
I am 19 weeks pregnant. I have had an ultrasound at the beginning of my pregnancy and only one baby was detected. Well in labor and delivery (due to pregnancy complications) she was running the fetal heart doppler over my tummy and detected what sound like a heart beat. She said she thought it was the placenta. Then found the baby. Well recently I have been feeling kicking in both sides of my uterus, one on the left and one on the right. My mom is a twin and the babies father has twins run on his mothers side. Is it possible they could have missed a second baby? I am huge for only 19 weeks.
I’m 9.5wks pregnant with my first baby & I hired a home fetal heart doppler to use. I cannot find a heartbeat apart from my own & it’s worrying a little. Any advice is great
Lol I got a fetal doppler to just have a second glance to make sure everything is ok becuase iv had a misscarrage and someone recomended it. The instructions do not say how often i can use it nor how long. I use is about once a week for 3 min.
i wanted to know for those moms who got a doppler how long did it take for you to recive yours.
i rented it sunday night and still havent recive it yet
thanks
i paid normal shipping
rented it from bellybeats.com
my little girl was really active the end of last week and the beginning of this week but for the last 2 days I’ve noticed hardly any movement. even if I drink cold milk or orange juice.. I’ve getting maybe 4-5 little bumps a day and that’s it.. I know her heart’s still beating because I have a doppler.
Is this normal? I hate to call my obgyn, I’m a worry wort and have bothered him a lot already.
I had an u/s on tues and she was perfect.. and i can pick up the HB on my doppler no problem

I am 11 weeks pregnant. I ordered a fetal doppler online and I got it today. I listened to the heartbeat 3 separate times and only got 108 bpm. This is really low according to the normal range of 120 to 180 that Ive heard. When I went for my 7 week ultrasound it was within normal range at 134 bpm. Now Im 11 weeks, just listened, and its only 108. Has anyone else had this happen to them? Or had a healthy baby that ever had a low heartrate?
I’ve seen a few different kinds of portable heartbeat monitors and think they are really neat. Has anyone used one and had it work well for them? This is the one I am looking at.
