Listen to your baby heartbeat from 8 weeks
I hear a washing machine like sound and wondered if i’ve found the baby. I’m 14 weeks.

It is an instrument which measures the hearbeats of baby for pregnent woman
I had an appointment today and I didn’t hear anything-just static.
Yes, I did ask my doctor if that was a problem. She said likely not- that it was too early. In the literal sense I am only 10 weeks pregnant- but they don’t go by that- they go by the date of your LMP. I told the doctor this. She wants me to have an ultrasound within the next two weeks because there was a little tiny bit of bleeding after my examination.
What I meant my examination was Pap test.
I want an ultrasound this week- I would even do it tomorrow, but guess what-the clinics are all booked!
Well, I miscarried. No fetal heartbeat on ultrasound. The person doing the exam didn’t even show me anything on the monitor. Right away I knew something was wrong. I waited for a doctor out in the lobby for what felt like forever. Then someone came out and told me my family doctor was on the phone, and that is when I was told the news.
Reason I am asking is I am thinking about purchasing one .I know when my doctor uses it it also pickes up mine as well . So how can you figure out which one is your from the babies ?
By the way I live in Canada , so purchasing a doppler is not ilgegal here for use as in the USA
Should a fetal Doppler pick up my baby’s heart at 20 weeks? If so I can’t fid it but I know I shouldn’t worry. It’s just that all of the reviews for it say it works well even for people in early pregnancy so I am a little worried. Anyone use the Angelsound fetal Doppler and did it work or what? Any other input also welcome. Oh and I wasn’t going to buy one but my friend sent it to me.
…from www.bellybeats.com. What do you think of it?
And if so where did you rent one from? I was looking to rent one but I know most of them say you need a doctors orders but are there any that doesnt need a doctors permission? Thanks~!!!
per month, are these accurate, is it usually easy to find the heart beat??
i’m renting fetal heart doppler thingy and i know i’m gonna over use it. i’m home all day (don’t work) and i’ll probably strap that thing on my belly and just do stuff around the house with it on (a bit of exageration but still).
n e way, i haven’t read anywhere that listening to your babys heart tones can be harmfull for the baby. i heard that too many ultrasounds can be bad but even that is questionable.
so, my question is, can i strap it on and listen to it for hours at a time? (yes i stocked up on batteries), or just listen a little bit each day.
Has anyone bought or rented one of these? How early could you hear the babies heartbeat?
I’m only 8 weeks, it’s probaly too early?
I saw the little heartbeat on an ultrasound at six weeks, and i went in today, but they couldn’t hear anything w/ the doppler. (9 1/2 ) weeks. The doctor told me to come in Thursday for another sono to see if he can visually see it at least. I’m still freaking out though. I have very little fat on my abdomen, as I’ve heard that plays a role too…. has this happened to anyone? How soon did u hear it?
I have just ordered one of these and i was wondeirng if anyone else had used it or one similar and what they thought about it.
Thanks
when did you hear the heart beat for the first time with it?
i want to rent one….anyone know where to, im 15 weeks pregnant
Stork radio? There are so many to choose from
I’m thinking about renting one because we are high risk and I think it would put me at ease to be able to check on him whenever I feel uneasy about things.
ok…i told some people i would post my results from last night. i rented one from babybeat.com coupon code (HP04). i was 9 weeks 3 days yesterday. it took me less than 2 minutes to find the VERY FAST heartbeat! it helped when i angled the doppler head down. it was a cm (or less) above my pubic bone. AMAZING!!! my hubbie and i both said worth every penny! I did have an advantage b/c i got an ultrasound yesterday (to my surprise it was abdominal) so I knew exactly where the baby was. It is really good. After 2 m/c’s, I know this will help ease my anxiety between appointments! Feel free to share your experiences! I was able to easily get it again this morning…and yes…i will stop checking every 12 hours!

I recently purchased a doppler machine to check for my babys heartbeat at home. I heard it at 7 weeks from an u/s. I am now 10 weeks. I first tried it yesterday and got it right away. It was extremely fast, and I was so excited! My mother (who is an RN) decided to check for it as well when she stopped by because she is so excited about her grandbaby, and it took awhile but she got a clear fast heartbeat just like I got. Then later, when hubby got home, I wanted him to hear it with me, so I tried to find it again, and nothing! And then this morning, I did it once more and still nothing so my questions are..
1) Do you think it could be so ironic that the baby is fine at one minute and then something went wrong so fast?
2) Is it possible for the baby to be in such a position that you can hear it sometimes, and sometimes you cannot?
3) Is it possible that using the doppler TOO much could of caused a problem? (important question)
I will continue with more details.
4) Could I blame not hearing it later on it being too early yet for me at 10 weeks, even though I was able to detect it before?
Im starting to worry that something went wrong, as ironic as that would be. I appreciate any answers. Thank you!
my husband ordered me an angel sounds heart rate doppler off the internet as a surprise and i’m hoping he didn’t waste his money.. has anyone tried this brand? I’ve heard of so many brands that dont work.. thanks for your feedback!!
Has anyone ever used this doppler? If so, what are your thoughts and does it work well?
I bought this last week and it wasn’t working and all a sudden it is and my doctors think it is an amazing at home doppler but I can not seem to figure out how to record it to the computer like your suppose to be able to. If anyone out there has it could you let me know what you had to do. Technical support is taking forever.
Thanks in advance!
Well, Im 15 weeks and 5 days and I took it to the ob today and she found the heart beat right away and I did too and I love it. It works really well. They didn’t even use their machine today and just used mine and were super suprised.
