My son's heartrate was 165 three weeks ago and now it's 140. There can be major differences some weeks but overall everything is totally normal. It can be scary sometimes when you aren't sure but your doctor would have said something if there was anything wrong so don't worry. I've always found that doctors don't sugar coat things and if there's a problem, they'll be sure to tell you straight up. So if your doctor isn't concerned you shouldn't be either. Good luck :) And enjoy the doppler for now. I'm 32 weeks and my son HATES the doppler. Every time my midwife uses it he shifts away and yesterday at my appointment he learned a new trick. Every time the doppler shifts when he does, he'll just give mummy a good solid kick in the ribs and see if that makes a difference.
