Fetal heart rate @ 34 weeks?
I’m currently 34 weeks 3 days pregnant and have a home fetal doppler to monitor the FHR. Although the FHR varies anywhere from the 120’s to the 150’s with accelerations even in the 160’s, I’ve noticed on a couple of occasions starting this past week that occasionally it seems to average around 117-121 with the range going as low as 110 for a few seconds. Is this too low for this stage of pregnancy? This is not occuring the majority of the time and as I said above, his heart rate changes throughout the day, in fact this morning it was at 146. Is it okay for the FHR to have a baseline from 117-121 with variations going down to 110 for a few seconds?
Thanks for the replies! I just can’t help but worry when his heart rate is lingering in the 110’s to 120 but I guess the rate is supposed to slow as the baby gets closer to term.

with my 3rd daughter the heart rate would go down to 115 for a few secs when i asked my midwife she said it was the baby resting
as long as its not like that all the time you will be ok
sounds like the baby is sleeping, my son did that at some appointments, so the midwife jiggled my belly to check that it went back up if she woke him
It is ok, my sister’s baby’s heartbeat hangs around 115 almost all the time, which is on the low end to have all the time, but it is OK. Sometimes the baby’s are just chilling out-they dont have much room in there! Dont worry-your baby still sounds very healthy!!
