Fetal Doppler while pregnant?

I was thinking about renting a fetal doppler but one of my friends said they can harm your baby. I was wondering if this is true? Also Is it better to rent one with a 2 or 3 MgHz Probe?

ur friend is wrong. drs use them daily and they wouldnt use them if they harmed the baby. i rented on from babybeat and it worked great i sent it back a month ago bc i could feel my baby move all over all the time and didnt need it anymore
