Fetal Doppler?
Ok, I want to rent a fetal doppler off of babybeat.com. I want some advice from pregnant women that rented a fetal doppler from babybeat. I’m 17 weeks pregnant so I’m pretty sure I can hear it good with the doppler. I was just wondering, which one is best to rent? I don’t want one with recording. I just want a regular one. But is it that if you get the more expensive one, it works better? Or do they pretty much work the same?
Also, I just want to rent it for one month. So, how far in advance before my month is up should I send it back? And does it cost anything to ship it back?

i rent from bellybeats.com… i LOVE It!!! i am 27 weeks, and have had it since i was 12 weeks.. i pay $25 mo… and i only planned on keeping it 1 month too.. but i plan to keep it throughout the pregnancy.. it has kept me calm a lot!!!!!!!!
i don’t know about the renting details of babybeat, but you should know there is a difference between those that are dopplers and those that are just microphones. more expensive is likely to work better.
i rented the one thats $29 a month when i was 15 weeks and i still have it (33 weeks) and it works fine. I didnt get the one with the recorder or the heart beat counter thing and it gets the job done. It basically looks like the one the doc uses at the hospital.
i bought mine off ebay and when i was finished I sold it and made a profit off it!!
I feel it’s cheaper to buy one than rent one. Everyone says they keep it for a while and pay anywhere from $25-$30 a month. I bought mine from healthchecksystems.com for $115. It’s exactly like the one my OB has and works like a charm. I started listening and found the heart beat at 9 weeks. I’m currently 15 weeks and still use it all the time. It’s a Hi Bebe BT-200 Fetal Heart Rate Monitor. Definitely worth the money!
