Fetal doppler 12 weeks?
Im 12 weeks and I wanted my mum to hear the babys heartbeat so i got the doppler out and after a while i finally found it but it was so faint and then it moved, i then found it two more times and it kept fading away and i would search that area again and i wouldnt hear anything. I started hearing the heartbeat at 11 weeks and it was really clear but now its faint and keeps moving, last week i was able to keep the probe on it and have a good listen and now im lucky if i get 5 seconds and theres so much whooshing and stuff, is this normal?
thanks. i was just really worried as i would normally find it within a few minutes and it would be clear, but today i was trying for ages but baby kept moving
really wanted my mum to hear it clearly

It’s very normal! It means you have an active baby. As the baby gets bigger, it will be harder to move around in there and you will be able to hear a much stronger heartbeat.
