Does doppler affect baby?
Im 19 weeks and over the past couple days ive used my fetal doppler twice and each time i use it i can loud noises and i can feel her really moving around, and then when i stop i dont feel her moving. Do you think the doppler is causing her some kind of distress, im actually thinking to stop using it because it dont want it to affect her
If you’re not going to answer my question seriously id rather you didnt at all. THANKS

its harmless as its just like an ultrasound so its just sound waves, but its probably pretty loud and our baby often kicks like mad and moves away from the doppler it definitely disturbs their sleep and wakes them up but i dont think it harms them in any way.
i use mine less and less since 22 weeks when movements became more regular etc..
hope that helps. x
She’ll just grow up to be a weather girl on the local news. No probs.
No. It’s just a microphone. Does it cause you distress to talk into a microphone.
It does not adversly affect her or hurt her, but it is supposedly pretty loud. One website i read likened it to a helicopter chopping noise. It is loud and probably gets on their nerves, but does not hurt them.
It was invented for a reason. If it affected anyone, don’tcha think it would have been off the market by now??
