If you read the instructions, it says not to use it until the 3rd trimester because it's nearly impossible to hear anything with it before then. Even in my 3rd trimester, I didn't hear anything except for my stomach gurgling when I was hungry. It's a piece of junk, it made me worry when I couldn't hear anything. I had that thing.
