Does a 150 heartbeat at 13 weeks most likey mean a girl…or is there still hope for a boy?

I went in and the did an ultrasound because the fetal doppler couldn’t detect the heartbeat. It displayed that it was 150 and when i heard the heartbeat it was pretty fast. Most people say a fast heartbeat means a girl, others say a fast heartbeat means that it is strong and the baby is healthy. I want a healthy baby no matter what, but is there a possibility that it could still be a boy?

My doctor said that has no truth, but mine at 12 1/2 weeks was 155 156.

My sons heartbeat was always in the 150’s, and my daughters was in the 130’s or so. In my experience boys have the faster heartbeat!
What would be so wrong about having a girl? Lol.
ha its only accurate 50% of the time. so yes there is still hope for a boy.
my midwife told me nefin above 160 is a girl….i knew i was having a boy as he was 145- 150 and my girl was 150- 160….good luck
i was walking to the creams with my boy and white with my girl…i didnt find the sex of either of my babies out…my instinct told me what i was having.
The heartbeat is almost always in the 150’s towards the beginning of the pregnancy. No way to determine sex based off of heart rate alone. Don’t worry, your gender ultrasound should be coming up soon. You’ll know for sure at that appointment.
I believe my little ones heartbeat was 161 at 13 weeks and I’m having a boy.
I’m saying a girl… but there’s always a possibility. My girls was 160. Girls heart rates are always higher than boys.
mine had a fast heartbeat and my doctor predicted a girl……& its a boy
heartbeat rates are not a tell tale sign of what you are having. i have two girls one was 160’s and the other 130’s. good luck! so its is possible!
i am having a girl and her heart beat is usually always 150 but keep hoping for a boy there is a 50 50 chance still good luck!
Well for me, I am preggo with number 3 and I had my ultrasound done about 3 weeks ago. My baby’s heartbeat was 140-153 and my baby is boy. So my daughters was high at 160 and my other son was at 150s. So get the u/s first then that will tell all. Good Luck!!!!!!!
