It wasn't overly expensive and I only kept it from 14-22wks, just long enough to feel kicks regularly. It worked well and the company was ok to work with. It was pretty easy to set up the online transaction and I believe I received it within 2 days. Which one to rent is up to you. I rented the one with the recorder which was the highest end model. I never recorded anything. So I don't recommend that one. The next one down should be more than sufficient. I rented one from babybeat.com and it works great.
