sure can..
chances of you hearking kicks are better than chances of hearing the heart beat.
when baby kicks, or is otherwise thrashing around that tends to drown out all other baby body sounds..
even at 38 weeks, my dr has a problems finding my guys beats because he is moving so much.
its possible
I have been using a fetal doppler since about 12 weeks pregnant. Yes loud noises could be the baby kicking or moving around. Alot if times it is hard for me to find the hbabies heart beat. Even now at 22 weeks, sometimes it is still hard. I know the baby is fine because I feel her move alot. It usually goes like I hear the heartbeat then the baby moves and I get a loud noise and try to listen again until she moves into a position that i can hear heartbeat again. I have had alot of fun with my doppler. About 15 weeks is when you are able to hear the heartbeat really well. Congrats!!
