why do you need a doppler at home? if you happen to hear something wrong what are you gonna do? are you gonna do a c-section at home if the babies heart rate drops? NO, so dont bother…

Save your money and leave those to the professionals -

You will only stress yourself out when you can’t find the heartbeat

I wish they would pull those things off the market

Most aren’t even worth it until your in your 3rd trimester anyways, by then you have lots of baby movements

At 13 weeks you would have a hard time finding what you want to hear

I understand that whole part–from about 13-20 some odd weeks, the baby can’t really be felt and the morning sickness is over for the most part, so I was always in constant fear that I could have lost the baby in that time frame and not have realized it until my next appointment.

I used the bebe sounds monitor, but I think what I was hearing was my own self, not the baby. Besides, most don’t recommend use before 24 weeks. If she’s not trained, she may not pick it up.
