Baby Sound fetal doppler?

I am thinking of purchasing a ‘baby sound’ fetal doppler, i was just wondering if anyone has had one and how good they are? Also the one im getting doesnt have the recording cable with it as im buying it second hand. Will it work ok without this?

My advice - buy one! I bought the same type brand new on Ebay, it worked from 11 weeks and I could hear my baby’s hb no problem! It was great and gave me alot of re-assurance throughout my pregnancy, the recording cable wont matter, I never did record mine anyway just listened to it myself through headphones, and dont worry its 2nd hand I sold mine on Ebay afterwards and the girl emailed me and thanked me saying it was excellent!
I bought one when I was about 12-weeks and it was the best thing I did. It took me a few goes to pick up his heartbeat but when I did I burst into tears! It was so reassuring to know he was alive! I don’t use it so much now ‘cos I can feel him wriggling around all day and night but I would definitely recommend one for the first few months
