Listen to your baby heartbeat from 8 weeks
Our next appointment with our midwife is in a few weeks…by that time I will be almost 10 weeks. Can the baby’s heartbeat be heard on a doppler by then?

Our midwife mentioned that any time after 9 weeks they can start to look for a heart beat with a Doppler, but they can’t be sure to find it until 12 weeks! Some babies are a little bit smaller and they tend to move away and hide from the sound waves…little buggers!!!! The midwife found mine at 10 weeks 5 days so they may find yours too…but don’t freak out if they don’t…it may take another week or two. Hope this helps and good luck!

hiya i couldnt hear mine at 12 weeks and i worried but i heard it when i went back at 14 weeks all is good and well

you should be able to hear it by then , i could hear mine at 8 weeks.
My first appointment I was 10 weeks and I heard the heartbeat with a doppler.
Normally 11 and after
you can pick up a heartbeat at 6 or 7 weeks easily.
It varies with every pregnancy,but at 10 weeks its very possible to hear the heartbeat but don’t worry if you don’t.remember it’s different for everyone iv’ had friends who could’nt hear it until the 12th week.
You should be able to hear it at 10 weeks, but there are many factors that would prevent it. The position of the fetus, and placenta, for one.
I believe that doctors don’t worry about not hearing the heartbeat until you are 14 weeks. You should definitely hear it by then.

I heard mine at 13 weeks. I heard it at my second & third appointment.
yea it will be possible thay you will hear the heartbeat i heard my daughters heartbeat at 9 weeks and the baby im having now i heard it 10 weeks
