Anyone know where I can rent or buy a good fetal doppler (heartrate monitor)?

I worry about my baby constantly. I’m 5 months now and feel reassured that I can feel it moving at times but I would feel much better if I could monitor the baby with a doppler. Can anyone help???

Go to http://www.babybeat.com. You can rent one for as low as $22 per month. They even have fetal dopplers that have a recording feature too. When you rent one, they also send you a CD that has samples of what sounds you’re going to hear so you’ll be able to distinguish what it is you’re hearing on the monitor (heartbeat, bloodflow, baby moving). It’s so worth it since you kinda seem like me who’s so paranoid sometimes about the well being of my baby.. hehe
Well, good luck ^^
ask your doctor
A good fetal doppler? Good ones can cost thousands of dollars. Excellent ones can cost over $10,000. An ok one will cost several hundred. Crappy ones that can be purchased at stores like Babies R Us, Wal-Mart, Target, etc. can cost from $5 - $30. The only problem is that they hardly work.
When my wife was pregnant with our daughter, we had one and we could never hear the baby’s hearbeat. All we could hear was my wife’s food digesting and other bodily noise.
I would recommend not buying one. Just rest assured your little baby is fine!
I see them on ebay all the time..they are the ones the doctor uses at your appts.U can buy one from ebay which will usually cost u around 100.00 for the really good ob kind or u can rent them on ebay for 20-30 a month..good luck!
goto the site below, they rent them, you can also buy a similar product from walmart search there site for Bebe sounds.
When I was pregnant I picked one up at Wal Mart and it worked really well it also had an attachment to hook up to the computer through the mic or to a tape recorder so you could record it.
wal-mart
I was told by my doctor that after 20 weeks you should be able to hear babies heartbeat with a stethoscope, you should ask your doctor about that, it’s definetly a cheaper way of hearing the heartbeat.
Go to heartones.com
Rent the same one your dr uses!!
