2 nights ago I couldn’t sleep because the baby decided to have a private party in my tummy ![]()
Last time I felt it only once. This morning nothing. I check with a fetal doppler and I could hear the baby heart. Is it normal that the baby might change sleeping and active pattern????

of Course
Yep, same with me, it depends on the babies position. The pattern in the womb is not the same as when they are born. My 1st was kicking at all times of the day and night and she slept through the night at 6 weeks, so it all varies!
Yes of course! A lot of the time woman are only just beginning to feel their babies at that far along, so not feeling your every day is nothing to worry about!!
when i had my first baby i woulod worry all the time all i did was gived my belly a little nudge and the baby usually respond try that or moving your belly or pushing down a little on that baby
yes its very normal for the movement to be light then. Wait til there is not alot of room, which will be here soon, I miss sleep because of all the kicks and punches going on in my belly.
Sure! The baby sleeps and gets up and parties whenever it wants to. The baby is still moving around in there - he/she just isn’t big enough yet for you to feel EVERY move.
The bigger the baby gets the more you’re feel it - and the worse it gets too! LOL! You’ll have nights you’ll wish he/she will just go to sleep so you can go to sleep.
I’m very excited for you!!! I miss those days! Congratulations!
perfectly normal. There are a lot of factors, what you ate, what position you’ve been in, where the baby is sitting, etc. Nothing to worry about, especially if you can hear a heartbeat.
There were many times through my pregnancy where I was so worried something was wrong because he wasn’t moving. Sometimes for hours at a time. Other times it felt like I was on a roller coaster with the flip-flops happening inside me. Babies are completely unpredictable in their movements and when they decide to be active. I wouldn’t worry about it like I did because it was all in vain. If you are worried give your doc a call but all in all it was certainly normal in my experience!
at 20weeks a baby is small enough to get in a position where he can kick and punch all he likes and u never feel a thing for days. when i was 21weeks i didnt feel my baby for 3 days, and when they checked him he was just really depp against my spine
you wait til ur 30 odd weeks and everytime he fans his fingers or rubs his eyes, ur belly changes all sortsa wierd shapes and u wake up with bum shapes stickin outa ya!!
lol, dont worry!
baby is just having a rest.
I asked the same question a few weeks ago! From what my doctor tells me it’s perfectly normal not to feel continuous movement at this stage in pregnancy. After 24 weeks it could be cause for concern if you don’t feel the baby moving.
Hi my baby was active from around 17 weeks and somedays would be like your baby alway moving, but then around 20 weeks the movements were bigger but slightly less, I too have a fetal doppler and always listen to my baby espcially if I dont feel movements as much as I did before. At 24 weeks I actually saw my baby kick me for the first time from the outside of my tummy, I am now 30 weeks and my baby moves pretty much all the time, however I find during the week say nearing the weekend of everyweek he will go quiet and not move as much so then I panic, but I think he just does his own thing.
If you are hearing your baby heartbeat with the doppler everything is fine,
This is my first so maybe its the same for every 1st time mum.
Yes, baby is probably resting from the party he/she had the other night!
Some women dont even feel baby that much at all at 20 weeks so you are very lucky!
I felt a MASSIVE kick (well probably not massive to women who are over 30 weeks - but it was a surprise to me!) about half hour ago.
Doesnt it feel amazing?!
o yeah ur still only early so im sure baby can get inposittons where u cant feel it move soon ull notice babs in a routine but they do have quite spells same as mad movment spells xxx
