Had a miscarriage at the end of May. We are now 15 weeks/5 days. My husband was paranoid b/c there was no heartbeat on the miscarriage, so this time around he rented a fetal heart doppler. According to the doppler, the heartbeat is 97. It has been very consistant over the past week. Any idea if I could be hearing my own heart beat or could it be that the baby’s heart rate is truly only 97?

My sister has a fetal heart doppler, it’s a real doctors one with the gel and all. She came over today so we could try to find my baby’s heartbeat, I am 8 weeks 2 days. We found two heartbeats, but her boyfriend said there are two arteries that run down by your pelvis and both heartbeats were mine. There was one heartbeat on each side. I am really worried that we weren’t able to pick up the baby’s heartbeat yet, with my first we heard it at 8 weeks. I have a doctors appointment Thursday, but I am kind of freaking out. My question is for anyone with any medical knowledge: do you think both heartbeats we heard were mine? What are the chances of picking up my own heartbeat in both spots, but not being able to hear the baby’s?

I had to be monitored 3-5 times a week during my first pregnancy because I had a high risk pregnancy. I am not pregnant with my 2nd baby and I know I’ll have to have simular monitoring. What is a good, reliable, accurate brand of fetal monitors that can be purchased for home use? I’ve seen many on many different sites, but how do I know what is a good brand, what is really accurate without breaking the bank? I know they can range from -0 and I really don’t want to spend more than 0

I am a little too early to detect a heartbeat with a Doppler cause im only 6 wks 3 days but I went ahead and rented a fetal heart Doppler from bellybeats.com and im anxious to see if anyone on here has ever rented them from there and how soon you got a heartbeat on it. they said it can be as early as 8wks and they claim to be the same as the ones they use at the drs office. they look like they are anyway. anyone have experience with these? they are not like the ones you can get at walmart for like . I had that kind before and they are kinda junk. thanks in advance.

HI,
Im 22+ weeks and no fetal movement for past 3 days. I am worried because my baby girl used to be very active…i used to feel movements atleast 3-4 times a day before.
During my 20weeks ultrasound…i saw how active she was.
I felt a mild movement yesterday…but im not sure if it is baby movement , or smething else, or my imagination.
I normally feel movement very well and it is normally not mild movements.
My doc appointment is in another 6 days….should i stay calm till then? Or should i consult a doctor immediately? I do not have a doppler so im worried.

The last couple of days I’ve started having braxton hicks, I’m 18รท2. And this is my 5th pregnancy, 3rd viable. They’re not painful, just a little bit uncomfortable and I’m not leaking anything. I just wondered if this is normal and if its common to feel them this early? I know baby is fine as it moves around a lot and I have a fetal heart doppler. I’m not really concerned at the mo, just wondered if I should be? Thanks

Is it normal for morning sickness to go away at 9w2day? I’ve had it since I was five weeks and today its kinda gone away. I have a fetal doppler and today the heart beat was 140. Is all this normal, I’m worried i might have a miscarriage since my symptoms are starting to go away.

I was using the doppler to listen to Lo heart and have been since 10 weeks as i have a abnormal uterus, tonight he was very active as you could hear on the Doppler his heart was a bit faster but i guess thats cause he was being very active, then a few minutes into it my little mans heart just slowed right down n sounded like my heart was like it for 10 seconds then it picked back up again was very scary, i dont know if this is normal or not has anyone had this happen ? im 17 weeks and have only felt a few flutters but not alot as i was a bit chubby to begin with any advice would be great
thanks

hello i just bought a hand held doppler and i was testing it out. i am almost 12 weeks along and it picked up the heartbeat which sounded fast and it read at about 135. when i went to the doctor at 8 weeks it was 172. so is what i am hearing my heartrate or my babies? thanks!
i bought it from a place my doctor recommended it wasnt like one of those cheap ones from walmart its was 100’s of dollars. and i actually heard the heartbeat sounded like a little horse! so i doubt it wasnt a faulty reading!

My husband is in Afghanistan and I am pregnant, so I just bought a fetal doppler (the machine you hear the heart beat on.) It has a plug that goes right into the microphone jack on the computer so you can hear it and record it. I’ve plugged it in and can hear it, but can’t figure out how to record sound onto my computer, I’m not good electronically at all. It’s a 2010 acer running windows 7 if that matters. Please help, I’m trying to send it to him, he’s dying to hear the baby’s heartbeat.
THANK YOU!!!!

I am nine weeks two days pregnant and just rented a digital fetal Doppler from bellybeats.com that arrived last night. I def heard the babys heart beat but the beats per minute displays a low number like in the 80- 90 range! The display will keep jumping and for a few seconds displayed 180. I had an ultrasound at 7 weeks 3 days and it showed a fetal heart rate of 153 bpm. I’m so confused and worried sick. Could the Doppler that I rented be wrong or is did the heart rate drop? Is this cause for concern or am I over analyzing this too much? Help!!!!:(

I saw one of my colleagues using a small handheld fetal doppler to hear her baby’s heartbeats while I was in the US. I wanted to know if such product is available in India.
