doppler from Belly Beats? Just wondering if you had and if it was worth it!! Thanks!
I am 20 week and 3 days, and just got a fetal doppler. I listened to my own heartbeat, which was going at a normal rate, then i found the baby’s but it was really quiet and probably going a little slower than mine.
Is this normal or should I tell my midwife?
I felt the baby kick and the doppler picked that up so i think all is well, i have a scan on friday, so i’ll try not too worry much. x
For less than 60 bucks that’s not angelsounds?
Im 16 weeks pregnant, and people keep saying because this is my 4th pregnancy i should be feeling movement now. And im not. I have a fetal doppler at home and listen to its heartbeat. I lost my little girl at 20 weeks pregnant last year, so im really scared this time. And this is making me more anxious as to why im not feeling it move around. Thank you in advance. x
No im not overweight. But i have had a lot of trapped wind and terrible constipation. Tmi sorry. x
I am almost 36 weeks pregnant and noticed that as soon as my baby dropped I had a decrease in fetal movement. I still feel her move, but the movements seem so sluggish. I know that she is running out of room in my uterus, but I still worry. Her heart tones have been great (at home doppler) I am a little resistant to call my ob because I am 2 and a half hours away from her and most roads are closed due to torrential rainfall. Any suggestions/advice would be appreciated.
Im finishing up some homework, just put my little guy to bed.

Just wondering if anybody out there had many ultrasounds and/or used a fetal doppler many times throughout their pregnancy? I know its probably not good, but I have severe anxiety..anybody out there like me?
i live in Queensland and am looking for a reasonable priced fetal doppler. im 12 weeks on saturday, and want to be able to hear my baby when i want and not have to wait for all the hospital visits. Anyone with any suggestions would be great.
This is my 3rd baby
I am reading all over the internet that most women gain some weight by now but i havent! I got pregnant at 130lbs and i am currently 128-130 every morning. I have a fetal doppler and i cant find his heartbeat yet and now im scared i have not gained weight and i cant find his heartbeat that something is wrong : ( is it possible for him to stop developing and I wouldnt notice or would i miscarry right away??
Ive been to the doctor 3 times so far and everything looks good
ive hired a fetal doppler for home use, im 17 weeks pregnant and when i use it i can hear a swooshing sound which i know is the placenta. when i hear what i think is the heart beat it sounds a bit like a car alarm,i cant describe it any other way! it goes woo woo woo etc,im sure u know what i mean! is that the babies heartbeat or mine or even something else?
I know he/she sleeps alot - I have a fetal doppler & can tell when he/she is asleep & when he/she is up & doing gynmastics. But I wonder if he/she moves when I move.
THANKS!
I speak to someone who is 8weeks almost 9weeks pregnant she has brought a fetal doppler and said today and yesterday she heard something on it which she said is baby’s movement and mothers blood flow would she hear this at 8-9weeks?. I am 9weeks pregnant and had a previous miscarriage at 7weeks and i have lost all my symptoms is there a chance i would hear something like this at 9weeks pregnant if i got myself one?
is that normal at 15 weeks?? i have a fetal doppler and i hear the babys heartbeat is 140 one day and the next it could be in the 130s and the next its 160. is that normal also?
For the record, I am an antepartum nurse who is trained to use a doppler and distiguish between fetal heart tones vs. maternal pulse. I was listening to my baby the other night (like I do every night before bed) and I heard the baby’s heartrate drop very low for a couple of seconds. I would estimate the rate was in the 60’s-70’s. I am positive it was not my pulse. It rebounded very quickly back to baseline (140-ish) but dropped several more times over the next half hour or so. Each time it would rebound within 2-4 seconds, but would then be very irregular. This happened one week ago and I had just seen a high risk Ob and she said everything looked good. Still, it was scary. Since then the heartrate has sounded fine, with a couple of minor drops or skipped beats, but nothing compared to what it was that night. Anyone have any knowledge or experience with this? Thanks…
I am 19 weeks pregnant and my home doppler usually shows the fetal heart rate at 145-155 however on a few occasions it seems that the heart rate will suddenly drop very low and become uneven (skip beats) for about 3-5 seconds. When this happens I immediately adjust the doppler to try to get a better reading and the heart rate always returns to sounding normal in seconds. 99% of the time the heart rate is perfect however it’s these occasions of irregular beating or simply the disappearance of the heart beat for a few seconds that scares me. Also, the heart rate has been perfect during ultrasounds and doctor visits. Could these variations in what I hear be due to the baby moving a lot or maybe other beats around the uterus that I am confusing with the FHR? BTW - I had a level II u/s with a perinatologist last week and all looked well. Thanks for any help!
I havent been to the doctor yet and the health department told me I was going on 24 weeks but My partner and I can feel the baby kick and we can hear the heartbeat on a home fetal doppler. Could I be futher along than 24 weeks or is this normal?
First Ultra sound was at 8 weeks and the HB was 122. Last night she did a doppler on herself and it was 116.
i need it for my fetal doppler and i DO NOT want to buy it off of the internet…
know of any stores that FOR SURE sell it??
thank you!
i had my 3rd check-up last wednesday (feb 10, 2010). and my doctor took my baby’s heart rate with a fetal doppler. it’s 150. what could my baby be? a boy or a girl?!=)
i am currenlty 19 weeks now.
I will feel a little twitch inside my tummy, mostly if I am sitting, bent over a little. Today it was on the left side, so I decided to get out my fetal doppler to see if the baby’s heartbeat was over there, and it was! It is just the slightest of a feeling, like something tiny barely poking me from inside.
I am 16 weeks by the way..
is ok at almost 9 weeks? We bought a fetal doppler, and that’s the lowest and highest it has been for the baby.
Can u hear the fetal heartbeat from the doppler at 6 weeks? NOT BY U/S, but from the doppler thing??? I thought it was around 10-12 weeks when they could hear the heartbeat by using the doppler.
A friend of mine gave me a 5mhz Nicolet Imex doppler today. I looked it up and it says its used for vascular detection purposes…but it should be able to pick up fetal heart tones right?
I recently started feeling my baby at around 18 weeks for like the first 3 days i felt the baby a lot. but now since wednesday i rarely feel him/her. Im veryy worried. I have a fetal heart doppler and heard the heartbeat this morning but im still extremely worried ??
Normally i feel my little one a lot more. but not today ive barely felt the baby. I have a fetal doppler so i listened to the heartbeat a few hours ago. but how come I cant feel the baby as much ?
