im in CANADA.. and id like to buy a fetal doppler.. ive looked on amazon.com and they dont sell them to canada..ive looked on ebay and the one i wanted only wants money orders and all i have is a credit card and i dont know how to use ebay very well..i checked babys r us canada ..(it was written in another question).. and nothing.. does anybody in canada have any idea where to buy one not expensive?.. i dont want to rent.

Last week I heard my fetal heartbeat at 10 weeks and 6 days performed by the maternity nurse using a Fetal Doppler. And today I am 11weeks and 6 days and my ob doctor could not hear the beat..He said the baby is okay because I am not bleeding but I am very worried!
My doctor scheduled me to come in next week to recheck.And advised me if he can’t hear at that time he’ll do a SONO.. But I am so impatient…

i just had a baby 9 months ago. and 1 week ago i had pink discharge and then it turned brown but it was only when i wiped. it resembled my first pregnancy. today i’ve been feeling some strange movements like i did when i was pregnant the first time ,so i snet my husband to buy a test and it came out negative,but i tried my fetal doppler and it picked up a heartbeat it was 80-90 right now. so i dont know? i took the test after we had sex so therfore i dont know if it willl be accurate

ok my last period was feb…23 i had a ultrasound at 5 weeks 3 days cause i had a tubal reversal so they do it to make sure it is not a tubal so i went for my second one 1 week later no heart beat so i am freaking out my uterus is growing my doctor say’s she thinks it was just to early i so hope that is the case i have a fetal doppler i can hear the wind noise and also sound like fetal blood flow does any one know if this means the baby is ok?
ok i go for another ultrasound tomorrow i will be a little over 7 weeks

I am 22 weeks pregnant and have a very active little girl growing in me. However, yesterday and all day today she is hardly moving at all. I do feel one or two kicks here and there, but nothing like she was. Should I be concerned? I am nervous because I had two early miscarriages last year. (All before 12 wks) - so far she has looked great. But I am concerned that she is hardly moving. I did feel some movements, but they are super faint compared to how they used to be.

I have been doing a lot of housework. Vaccuming, dusting, etc.

Also, I do have a fetal doppler and her heartrate is still around 156 which is what it has been the whole time.

Should I call the dr? Or just wait it out? Maybe I am being a little too nervous.

So I have been worried about baby since I have had two miscarriages. But now I am 12w3d and heard my babies heartbeat today. I must say it was the most amazing magical sound I have ever heard and I think that I am still in shock. Ha!

Hi all…just wondering (for those of you who have one)…how often do you use your fetal doppler to listen to the heartbeat? I know they are safe but I’ve heard some say that they shouldn’t be used too often…thanks
when you say moderation…is that once per week, once per month??

I am 10 weeks 4 days along and at 9 weeks my Dr had given me an older imex early fetal doppler so I could monitor the baby at home. he was not able to pick up the baby’s heartbeat at my last visit even with his own doppler, but said it was probably to early.we were able to see the heart beating at 160 beats per min at my last ultrasound when I was 8 weeks. I tryed to use the imex a few times but to no avail. I cant even pick up my own heart beat when I put it up to my heart.Im using the Gel he gave me but nothing. Im wondering if these Doppler’s would at least pick up my heartbeat? Or is it just broke? he said it was an older doppler .

I’ve been working on a project about 12 hours straight and I’m sitting on the floor bent over a little bit on my computer. I just tried to hear the baby’s heartbeat with my fetal doppler and for the first time wasn’t able to hear it. It’s not possible to hurt your baby by the position your body is in, is it?

I purchased a sonolife fetal doppler off ebay after using the doppler for almost 2 weeks I find out its not FDA approved. I have added a link to the page that indicates that the doppler shouldnt be used in the US. Should I be worried. I wished I had of researched this before I bought it!! Please leave your opinion.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good, inexpensive fetal doppler to listen to the baby’s heartbeat? I really want to get one but I know a lot of them aren’t that good. Did anyone have a good experience with a particular brand? I don’t want to get it if it’s over 50 dollars. Thanks!

Hi, anyone bought a fetal doppler to hear their babies heartbeat? If so which one did you buy and where from?

My husband and I are considering to buy a fetal doppler. His co-worker bought one from Wal-Mart and said that it didn’t work well. Does anyone own one and if so, how is it working for you? Recommendations are welcome! We’re not looking into an inexpensive one, just one that works well, but it it’s inexpensive and works well that would be great too!

I kept loosing it after about 10 seconds is that because my baby is moving? I’m 11 weeks and thee heartrate was around 145-150. Do babies heartbeat sound like a galloping horse?

I’m 16 weeks and 2 days and I just went to the obgyn and heard the heartbeat with a fetal doppler. The heartbeat ranged from 138 to 148 with the doppler. My previous heartbeat started off in the 170’s at about 7 weeks. Then started going down to the 160’s and 150’s during the following appointments. The doctor said it was in the normal range and it’s normal for the heartbeat to go down as the baby gets bigger. Does anyone know when the heartbeat begins to slow down. Any similar experiences would be really great to hear.

Im 12 weeks and I wanted my mum to hear the babys heartbeat so i got the doppler out and after a while i finally found it but it was so faint and then it moved, i then found it two more times and it kept fading away and i would search that area again and i wouldnt hear anything. I started hearing the heartbeat at 11 weeks and it was really clear but now its faint and keeps moving, last week i was able to keep the probe on it and have a good listen and now im lucky if i get 5 seconds and theres so much whooshing and stuff, is this normal?

I’m 12 weeks and 3 days pregnant. I bought a fetal doppler because the ultrasound tech said that I would be able to hear it by now. I don’t know if I am hearing my heartbeat or the baby’s. The prenatal heart listener is a cheap 30.00 one and I’m not sure if I’m hearing the babies heartbeat or mine!!
