ok…i told some people i would post my results from last night. i rented one from babybeat.com coupon code (HP04). i was 9 weeks 3 days yesterday. it took me less than 2 minutes to find the VERY FAST heartbeat! it helped when i angled the doppler head down. it was a cm (or less) above my pubic bone. AMAZING!!! my hubbie and i both said worth every penny! I did have an advantage b/c i got an ultrasound yesterday (to my surprise it was abdominal) so I knew exactly where the baby was. It is really good. After 2 m/c’s, I know this will help ease my anxiety between appointments! Feel free to share your experiences! I was able to easily get it again this morning…and yes…i will stop checking every 12 hours!

I’m 14 weeks pregnant and would love to get a cheap, but reliable heart doppler to listen at home. Not only will it be good for me…but also for my dghtr to hear and experience the heartbeat and for my husband too. He has to work MON-FRI so he misses my Dr appointments. I want him to be a part since it is his first biological kid and I thought a fetal heart doppler would be a great idea!
However, I’ve heard some aren’t any good…and I can’t see spending 0 or more for something we will only use a few more months. What are the best brands and where can I get a good one for cheap?

I have a Hi Bebe I should be eight weeks. I tried using it today, I couldn’t hear the heartbeat but could see it displayed on the screen the beats a min. I could however hear what sounded like movement. Has anyone else had this happen? Is it just to soon to actually hear it?
This is the one I have

I ordered the standard without recorder ( 27.00 per month )
It’s a pretty expensive machine to purchase outright. So I figured it has to be pretty decent. I checked out youtube too it looks like a lot of ladies have the home dopplers like this one!
I’ve had 3 previous miscarriages and this is my first child, so I’m pretty anxious to make sure things are OK between OB visits!
Any stories about this website or specific doppler?
Yeah, this system is 450.00 usd to BUY!
I just plan on renting for a month, just until I begin feeling movement that lets me know he or she is OK!
I’ll be 15 weeks saturday

Hello,
I just received this doppler and a heartrate will display on the screen for a few seconds and I only hear static. Even if I don;’t hear it is the doppler picking it up? Also I will pick up a heartrate of 60, then 90, then 100, 130, 160, 220
It’s all over the map? A heartrate of 160 will show up and then I don’t move the wand and a second later it disappears?
I am 11 weeks pregnant. Has anyone else had similar experiences with this doppler? I imagine it will be easier to find the further along I get. I am just concerned about the really erratic heartrate readings.
I did hear a heart beat once but I *think* it was mine.

Hi I am 10 weeks and 3 days Pregnant and I have ordered a home doppler so that I can hear baby’s heartbeat? Has anyone tried one this early and has it worked? If not, when was the earliest you did hear anything in home doppler? Thanks

What is the earliest you heard the heartbeat (with an external fetal doppler) and had you or your Dr. tried before that but couldn’t find it? I am 9 weeks 3 days and can’t hear it yet, I can only hear mine.

Hey all, I went for an ultrasound 2 days ago and everything was fine. Today I had a OBGYN appointment and the Doctor couldn’t find the heartbeat. He said that this sometimes happens and it’s probably no big deal, but he ordered another ultrasound in 3 days just to be sure. Has anyone else had a similar experience? When did your doc pick up the fetal heartbeat with a doppler? I can’t help but worry that somethings gone wrong since the ultrasound.
Thanks!
The ultrasound picked up a heartbeat of 165.

Hi ladies!
This is more of informative info for mommy’s to be.
I just bought a doppler fetal heartrate monitor on ebay. It’s actually the same one my doctor’s office used last week to hear our babies heartrate.
The same one online I saw for 9! A little ridiculus I know.
I contacted a seller on ebay and just bought one for .99! With shipping it was !
It is brand new and comes with a 1 year warranty. The seller on ebay has about 150 positive feedback remarks about this same product.
I thought I would fill you in because I think the is well worth being able to listen to my baby’s heart beat whenever I want.
It should be here next week and I will let you all know how it works!
Feel free to contact me for more info.
I’m excited!
Here is the seller’s contact on ebay!

I was just wondering if anyone out there have used a fetal doppler of their own and found two heart beats? I know you can find your own and it would be much slower than your baby’s heartbeat. Most of the fetal dopplers have a digital screen that shows the fetal heartrate.

I have a professional fetal heart monitor that I borrowed from a friend. Its from a doctor’s office that she used to work for. Does anybody know if its safe to use all the time? I’ve been avoiding using too much because I’m scared that it will be harmful if overused. Can anybody answer this question? Thanks!
