Listen to your baby heartbeat from 8 weeks
I was wondering if anyone has ever used the Hi bebe BT-200 Fetal doppler or any other doppler by hi bebe.
has anyone tried Prenatal Heart Listener from baby depot that cost . Is so did it work good?
I’ve been in agonizing pain in my neck upper back, and trapezius muscle right below my shoulder-blade for a long time. I’m 27, so I’ve had a hard time with doctors telling me that I’m young and I should be able to bare the pain and its probably some muscle spasms. Fortuantely, I finally got on MRI scheduled for later this week. Also, my physical therapist found that ultrasound relieves some of my pain. I was wondering if anyone knows if a fetal heart doppler which works through ultrasound waves would work in the same way. I bought one on ebay when I was pregnant with my daughter and thought it would be great if I could do the therapy at home since the relief is really short-lived. But on the other hand, my back is such a volatile environment that I don’t want to do anything to rock the boat if it isn’t a good idea.
I know I’m planning ahead but I wanted to go on and start researching good fetal dopplers. I’ve heard that the ones you buy in most stores are pretty crappy. So what is a good one that you know is sensitive? Thank you
I want to listen to my baby’s heartbeat at home whenever I want to, instead of once a month. Anyone know of any ways or websites to acquire a free fetal heartbeat doppler?
Thanks in advance!
hiya just wonderd if any one else brought one of these and what they thought of them? i got one off ebay at 12 weeks, now at 16i can hear baby moving about but not yet hearbeat,my midwife said that prob wont untill around 20weeks?
has anyone rented or bought a fetal doppler. I ended up with two ..and seem have the same issue with the digital lcd display…how can you tell the bpm as it chamges to different numbers …no instrcutions so I am not sure if I am suppose to place it on the heartbeat for a minute before reading the dispaly or not ?
I’m getting one tomorrow, can’t wait! So anyways… Rental fetal doppler from bellybeats.com, does it includes with battery?
I’d like to be able to listen to baby’s heart beat at home, but I’m a little skeptical. I know the Bebe Sounds monitors you can only use from 6 months until labor. The AngelSounds is supposed to pick up the heartbeat at or shortly after 12 weeks.
Well, I’m 14 weeks pregnant and have been using a fetal doppler for the past couple of weeks. I have a couple of questions:
1. At 12 and 13 weeks I was picking up the heartbeat right away and it sounded very loud. However, at 14 weeks, even though I pick up the heart beat every time it sounds further away. Can this be the position of the baby?
2. I used to pick up the baby’s heartbeat at the same spot all the time (right above my pelvic bone on the right side). Now it seems to be moving up (closer to my belly button but still on the right side). Does this happen as the baby gets bigger?
3. I have heard that the baby’s heart beat begins to slow down as it gets bigger. When does this begin to happen and does when does it stabelize?
Any feedback would be great. Thanks.
My wife is 30 weeks pregnant and we have had a fetal doppler since 13 weeks. Recently we have started to hear irregular beats although a check at hospital told us everything is normal and to stop using the doppler.
If you listen to the baby lower down under the belly button the heart beat seems almost regular. Listening just above the belly button the beat sounds regular, then changes to a slower double beat like a "chew-chew…….chew-chew". I know it is not the mothers beat but why this double beat? Is this listinging to the in / out flow of the umbilical cord to placenta? Anybody else experiences this?
Thanks for all the answers, very reassuring to hear that things do not always sound perfect. I thought that the placenta was just a continual wooshing sound rather than a beating sound though.
This may be the strangest question posted on here. I’m after a fetal doppler, so I can listen to my babies heartbeat. I’ve looked on ebay, but are still expensive even second hand. Just thought I’d ask on the off chance anyone is thinking of getting rid. I’m in Edinburgh area. Thanking you all : )
Has anyone ever used the Hi bebe BT-200 Fetal doppler or any other by hi bebe?
hi just wondering if someone could help? i just got my fetal heart Doppler and found what i think is the babies heartbeat (around 150 bpm) but its always in the same place every time i use it day and night i was just wondering could the beat im picking up be something other than baby like blood flow to the placenta or something? because would the baby be moving around so id be finding him/her in diffrent places? im 14+1 xx
im 14 weeks i meant could the sound of the blood flow from the placenta be as fast as 150 bpm or could that speed only be the baby is sounds like pow pow pow
if im going to purchase a fetal doppler for my own use, what brand do you advise that i get, and what would you advise to stay clear of?! Thanks!!
I just purchsed a Taiyi brand Fetal Heart Monitor off of ebay. I paid + shipping. It looks just like the doctors one. Plus the company has a refund policy. I am hoping it works! I am 15 weeks!
Have you used this brand monitor?
Plus, where do I buy the gel that works with these monitors?
i purchased a fetal doppler like the ones that the midwifes use - i must say its great - i dont overuse it either, once or twice a week just for reassurance, just wanted to say that the heartbeat does not seem alot faster than my own. im not sure if im not timing it properly or what! any advice? oh im 15weeks+4
is it safe to use my fetal doppler? does anyone know? does it have radiation? Is it ok to use it a few times a day?
I rented a fetal doppler and have been using it once a day for about 1 minute at a time just to hear the heartbeat. Is this safe? Just curious to hear how many times other women have used it during a week. Most of the things I have read said it is safe for continuous use. However, I have read that you shouldn’t overuse it. Any feedback would be great.
if you do how many weeks are you? would u recommend it?
where did u buy a good one from?
are the ever wrong or faulty?
I rented a fetal doppler with a digital BPM readout. I jsut tried it, and the readout would go from 117 to 155 [and a range between] depending on how I moved the wand. Is that normal? Is it just because you have to have it in just the right spot? Should I be nervous at all? Do you ever just get one set of numbers? Which one would you go by?
I would think you would go by the high number, because it must have been reading *something*, right? The low numbers could just be it wasn’t quite on target?
I know the lower numbers weren’t my heart rate, because I could find it and distinguish it at 86bpm.
