I am 14 weeks pregnant on thursday and want to purchase a fetal hear monitor from ebay and was wondering if some1 can recommend one that you can easily use from 12 weeks onwards x

My partner and I have just purchased one today. I think is the same as the one my midwife uses to check the babies heartbeat, it looks identical. When I last heard babies heartbeat it was a few weeks ago, I was about 13 weeks in my pregnancy and she found the heartbeat straight away.
Just wanted to know if this particular one is any good. I have read up on sites and the "Angelsounds" had fab reviews, but I fancied this as it had more features.

I use a Doppler every day and recently, on two occasions, I have heard an occasional missed beat. This is freaking me out. Has anyone else experienced this? What was the result or doctor’s explanation?

Im 14 weeks pregnant and have bought a Hi-Bebe BT-200 Fetal Doppler. I cant find the babies heartbeat, just the whooshing of the placenta and even that is hard to hear due to the static noise of the unit. Does anyone else have this problem? I paid £70 for the doppler and its rubbish. As soon as I turn it on all I hear is loud static noises. Is there a better one I could buy instead? Thanks in advance.

i am thinking of hiring one as the vets have advised us not to take her for a scan as she is such a nervous dog

I think I’ve found the heartbeat on my hi-bebe Doppler it sounds a bit like a skipping/ jump rope going around really fast - am I right in thinking this is my babies heart beat? Thanks.
Hi Billie, I am nearly 16 weeks just to warn you I couldn’t hear anything until 14 weeks.

Used an Anglesounds Fetal Doppler today, I am 12 weeks tomorrow. Could only hear the placenta/my own heartbeat I think. Couldn’t trace a fast heartbeat. I’m so worried my scan isn’t till 13 weeks. It says on the reviews it works from 12 weeks.

What should I do? Did this ever happen to you?x

Has anyone used a fetal doppler from wal-mart or target? i was thinking about buying one today but i want to make sure it’s worth the money. I know they don’t work as good as the ones in the doctors office. I am a little over 10 weeks and I would love to hear the baby’s heart beat at home.

I’m 36 weeks pregnant and have a fetal doppler at home which I have used for a couple of minutes a day for most of the 2nd and now 3rd trimester. I have had a late loss so that has made me paranoid, therefore the daily doppler use however I now worry about having hurt the baby’s hearing.

Has anyone else used a doppler frequently and had their baby turn out fine?

I cannot believe the price for renting a fetal doppler now. I rented one three years ago and it was less than a month. I got it from HearTones. Now that SAME exact model is a month. Why would they need to raise prices when I know it is the same one I rented three years ago? Does anyone know of a more reasonable price for a base model. I found one at Stork Radio for a month. That is the best price I have found but I have a huge problem paying more for the same thing now…. sorry just ranting but wtf?

What is the best fetal doppler to buy? I want one that can pick up a heart beat at the earliest it can.

I was thinking about renting a fetal doppler but one of my friends said they can harm your baby. I was wondering if this is true? Also Is it better to rent one with a 2 or 3 MgHz Probe?

I just bought an angelsounds fetal doppler, and just wondered how hard you should press down on your tummy? obviously, i dont want to hurt the baby, but i think you need to press fairly firmly to pick up the heartbeat?? Im 14 weeks, and 4 days gone, also, what should the heart rate be?

Our next appointment with our midwife is in a few weeks…by that time I will be almost 10 weeks. Can the baby’s heartbeat be heard on a doppler by then?

i have the exact same kind they use in the office and ive heard that if its a girl you can cause potential damage to the ovaries and ive also heard something about it giving ear infections. anyone know?! thanks.

I have a bebe sounds one that really sucks, I need a professional grade one 2-3 MHZ. I know about renting and would rather just buy one for that price. I found ebay to have them around 0 - anyone know of anywhere that sells them for less? THANKS!!

its the second one with limegreen on it..thats 5 im debating wether to get it but i need advice from mothers, or mothers to be who have used that one or ones similiar does it seems like its a good quality one and worth the price please help…
i used the bebe sounds from kmart and they do NOT work alli hear is gushing no heart beat and my sister in law used it n even wen she was 8 months u could not hear my nephews heart beart…so im lookin for a good one.

I use mine daily (first thing in the morning) for less than five minutes a day. Is that too much?

Has anyone used a fetal doppler and at what week did you first hear the heart beating? I have an Angel Sounds and am 11 weeks and I can’t hear anything
